What is going on...only one student has submitted for the 2016 Challenge?

With 29 minutes to go until the deadline.....there is one post.

What are we doing wrong.....that we get such a low turnout from students. Both Eric and I have sent multiple tweets on the opportunity over the last 10 days.
We included:
#NovaNation
@VUhoops
@NovaMBB
@VUBenchMob
@AugustinianArmy
@sacketology

I took out an online ad in the Villanovan......

Link to the 2016 Submissions

There must be a better way to reach the yutes of this generation....I just do not get the low turnout.

NG takes down Mars

NG is pretty much dominant fashion takes down Mars township in a blowout. Zane Martin (Towson commit) led all scorers with 33. Quade Green showed really well, I had him for 25points on 4 or 5 three, some mid-range mixed in that as well. Quade is so smooth, under control, and has a great feel. His game continues to grow. Quade has a sneaky mid-range game with a stutter step and a stop on a dime behind the back pull up.

Roundtree was in early foul trobule for the first half, got two quick fouls and was on the bench. In the second half he came out and rebounded well. He really doesn't do too much in terms on the offensive side, besdies follow up dunks and ally oops. The up and down game definitely had something to do with it tonight. I would like to see Roundtree improve on establishing post position. But played well tonight, very active body and moves well.

Robby Carmody had his moments tonight. I had him for 20 on 7-15 shooting. A very live and atheltic body. He still looks like he is growing into his body. I can see him growing to a legit six foot five, already six foot four as a sophomore. Carmody really attacks the rim and seaks contact, very good fisnisher. One aspect of his game that I was impressed with was a quick and explosive first step. Very good balance off the bounce. He is not knock down shooter right now. He is a competent shooter, with room to improve, but far from lights out. Believe it was sad he has only made 20 threes this year. Very much an attacker who gets to the rim. Lots of room to grow game wise and physically, will improve a ton from this year to next year. A very good prospect.

Congrats to NG!

Lady Cats' season ends

Lost today at home to Hofstra to end their season. Tough way to see them go down. Were in it until early 4th quarter when Hofstra went on a run, never could quite get it back.

Losing both Coyer twins and Edwards will be tough, but the freshman PG is a stud, and supposedly the recruits coming in should be good, so the future looks bright!

The ACC

Has a legit chance at 6 Sweet 16 teams.

- Miami is in.
- Virginia is a big favorite over Butler
- UNC is a big favorite over Providence
- Duke is a pretty big favorite over Yale
- Syracuse is a big favorite over Middle Tennessee
- Notre Dame has Stephen F. Austin

Hopefully the Big East can derail their hopes tonight.

The ACC caught a break getting 12/14/15 seeds this round with some of their lesser teams.

Dylan Ennis

Watching the Oregon-HC game and noticed him on the bench with a blond streak in his hair.

I never liked him as a player at Nova. Thought he was extremely soft and played scared especially in late game pressure situations.

Not surprised he's a 2x transfer. Glad he wasn't on the team this year. His quitting ways may have poisoned the locker room.
