I suppose with Jeremy Wang gone, no bus trips to Fordham and Towson this year. I don't think there is anybody else who even knows or thinks ahead about these things, now that Jeremy is gone.

What a surprise. A bunch of clueless numb nuts.
It is not easy to use your brains, especially if you
are lacking.
Where are the apologists ??????

Academy Bus Lines didn't know how to find Villanova, drove through Allentown looking for Stony Brook, drove through Washington Heights looking for Fordham, drove back to Hoboken to empty the toilet leaving 50 fans stranded in 20 degree weather for 2 hours at Stony Brook, drove 24 miles in 3 hours on a closed PA Turnpike looking for Norristown. Unless or until they bring back Kraft, no more bus trips. BTW, Kraft drove VU Alums from DC & Bal to Wells Fargo for GT game last year, so the Academy contract is non-exclusive.

Paul Cobaugh and his bride ran lots of bus trips for his "Mad Cats" years ago. He also sold tapes of games to any parent who wanted one for $25 per. NCAA requirement. One year we had 18 players from California. I asked Paul last year how the Mad Cats were doing. NCAA said it was an extra benefit. He had to drop it. Paul's son played LB for VU. Paul has become the official taper of VIllanova Football for years now.

Those Cobaugh trips were fun. He started running them when his son Andy was playing for the Cats.
Bob Capone also ran some great trips. He would pick up the tab for the cheerleaders.
Why some athletic fund raiser won't pick up the ball and get these trips started is hard to understand. Jeremy is gone but other athletic fund raisers are on staff. My guess, they don't care about football.

Maybe with Jackson being the new AD, instead of bus trips, we can get charter flight trips to the Coilseum.

BTW, for you non football hacks who lurk on this board, the Coliseum is the home of USC football, not the place where the Christians were thrown to the lions, although if VU ever played there against USC, you can make that case.
