CAAF isn't the problem. Those guys figured out how to get around Hofstra's Stony Brook-induced tantrums. The conference reached out to the likes of Appalachian State, Charlotte, and others...hey, they tried. Oh, and they don't punish the teams of the outgoing schools by disqualifying or barring them from conference championships. CAAF's in an alright place...
...it's the overall conference that isn't, and, yeah, this is one college sports fan who won't miss the guy. I'm sure the kids at Old Dominion and all of those other schools CAA blocked from conference tournaments won't, either. That's part of his legacy. That and reaching for Davidson, but only getting Elon instead...because placating Hofstra is more important than the next best candidates for inclusion.
