This board seems like the perfect place for this question. I've accumulated quite a few AMEX points, and I'm wondering if anyone has found anything interesting or different to do with them. I can just transfer them to SkyMiles or whatever, but that seems boring. Whatcha got?

I usually get gift cards to restaurants. I also have used them for a wedge and a putter in the past.

You can spend them on Amazon now. Not as good of a dollar exchange as gift cards, but the gift card selection doesn't always meet your needs.
Not an amex user, but I always use my CC rewards points for amazon cards. they seem to have the best dollar value per point. it is really not very interesting, but i'm not sure anyone ever claimed they should be interesting.
Are you guys kidding me? Use them to fly places. Everything else is useless consumer crap.
I tend to agree with this, and transferring to Delta is the best economic value for the points, but I was halfway hoping someone was going to let me in on how I can use them for nefarious purposes.

Vacation and traveling should be an important purposeful part of your life. It makes more sense to me to use "found money" like CC points on useless consumer crap. Rather than to count on them to fund your travels. You could look at it either way though, slugger.
With the prevalence of points, 2%+ cards, etc. I don't view the points as found money, but just a discount on all purchases.
Used to use CC points for flights years ago, but when it became too difficult to plan trips (and avoid blackout dates) -- not to mention more kids to buy tix for -- haven't done that in a few years.
