Crossfit?

Yes there are plenty out there who don't use a pay per head shops. Amazing they can stay in business.

My friend uses a bookie who doesn't use a PPH. I axed him where he gets his numbers from. He replied "bovada".

Probably the worst book in the world to copy numbers from. Dude allows correlated parlays. Huge no-no. Doubt he even understands what one is.

Amazing he stays in business. Tons of dumb bettors out there obviously

My guys runs a really good business. Incredibly professional operation. He's why I've never had to go offshore. My only complaint is I cannot get prop numbers early. Usually 90 minutes before the game. Usually not as much movement on props so not as big a deal. However, it saves me from having to deal with wiring money etc....I also like the personal relationship. Just how I"m built.

Also note, we don't use real money but just fake stuff and at the end of the year the winner gets an orange and participation ribbon.

Noted. Same here.

But yea, that's the biggest disadvantage of using a local - late numbers. Pros and cons to both local and offshore.

His numbers aren't moving b/c the number is pretty much already sharp once he opens. The offshores took the hit earlier in the day. The local opens later when the number settles.

Does your guy allow correlated parlays?

I assume he has a website?

No.

Yes, but it's run by a company that operates as a house for many other big bookmakers.I had buddies in NYC who used the same site but different book. It's online, 800 number. My guess is he pays them a percentage or some fee based on volume and they handle everything but $. If I had to guess they are owned by one of the offshore books. Thus the operation is already in place. Win-win. They get can just take a rake and he doesn't have to handle anything but pay outs and collections. Customers get the benefit of a legitimate offshore operation without the wire issues. Of course, I'm not playing with real money so I would never have those issue anyway.

Most likely using a pay per head (PPH).

Bookie pays the operation $X per player, per week to use their service.

Player doesn't always "get the benefit of a legit offshore operation". Mr bookie can limit props... limit the number of teams on a parlay... no casino... put numbers up late...etc. Bascially Mr bookie customizes.

Like I said, pros/cons to each.

Anyways, that's what some guy told me at the bar once.

Yes, I must have spoken to the same guy in a bar.

4.5 -155
39.5 -140

Fuk

brown numbers surprised me over 6.5 -115, over 84.5 even......tasty. Lastly, we need a W tonight. Go Stillers.

Guy at bar just confirmed Bell's rec yds opened (-115). Total receptions actually opened higher for O (-170)

NN1188 with an interesting statement on bro lifts coming full circle. Used to be bros just did bis and tris but now they are deadlifting and squatting. It is true - but the difference is deadlifts and squats provide functional strength.

If you are playing a sport 3+ times per week or do an excessive amount of cardio i can see legs being really tough to get into. The first few weeks the soreness might put you out of commission for the sport or cardio so I get avoiding it. But if you keep it light, which most people are afraid to do, you won't run into that problem as much.
