Drunk UConn Kid

3rd arrest by October of his Sophomore year. Give this kid a basketball scholarship!

The kid wanted a beating, and he got one.

Kept him honest at least.

That manager exercised a tremendous amount of self-restraint, by the way. He played it by the book and waited for the cavalry to arrive. Cap tip is in order.

That cook is a wannabe cop right out of central casting.

"Show's over!!!"

spg109876ers, thoughts on whether the "taser" should have been deployed here?

I thought it was a pretty humane resolution. The only possible issue might be the hand on the throat. At no point did they strike him. They only sought to restrain him after he became violent as they gave him plenty of time to leave peacefully.

I also enjoyed the police officer who was pretty cool until the guy spit on the manager - at which point he used the drunk kid as a battering ram for the door.

And spits in the guys face and I think yells your dead when being escorted. That will probably be an additional charge. Took campus security long enough to get there, huh?

Loved the employee stating you don't touch my boss.

This kid needed a slap from the get-go. Unlikely never to not be a douche for his entire life.

He also likely received a "rough ride" in the van to the campus police station.

Get Luke some scaffolding....along with his mac 'n cheese.

Couldn't have not said nothing worse to noone myself.

Yea, I jacked that up and was too lazy to fix it. Rough night. Caught some sort of bug going around the family. Man, a wicked night of throwing up. Still feeling the effects today.

It's affecting your ability to post. Take a day off and come back ready to contribute tomorrow.

I'm home and perusing the board. I watched that video and kept waiting for that punk to get laid out. Just wanted add something. Sometimes the fingers and brain aren't working well together. Definitely one of those moments.

that manager should get a bonus for not jacking that kid up after the first time he got pushed. Then, he should raise the price of his bacon jalapeno mac and cheese because it is obviously worth it.

I just think it's pretty standard "corporate" stuff that the employees not get physical.

The standard corporate line is never to initiate physical contact. Avoid and delay until authorities arrive. Intentionally vague to not describe how to handle self defense. I don't see how you could fault someone for restraining someone who was first verbally abusive then physically. The kid attacked his coworker. Corporate would have preferred if they just stopped the contact and let the kid go though rather than choking and detaining him.

That video is fantastic - The assistant chef or whatever he is is incredible - my favorite line is "Well then you're f@cked!" Good stuff.

Father should sit down with kid and watch the tape together. Father should then work the kid over for about 30 solid minutes and then force him to slink back and apologize to everyone who works in that place.

kid should seek some treatment for alcoholism. that's for certain. textbook right there.

I didn't realize VUVoice got a job as a cook at a UCONN fast food joint.

Also, the boss must be a pretty good dude for his employees to back him up that way

Everybody likes 4.6 Street Justice because it appeals to common sense. That doesn't mean it's prudent practice in the "real" world.
Not when the kid continues to assault the manager. Workers have the right to defend themselves. So you are sitting in your cubicle and some a-hole starts pushing you/others around. You are going to wait until the cops arrive? Doubt it. These guys took d-bag down and restrained him. Nothing wrong with that
