With respect to blacks and "mass shooters," the only one I can remember is the DC sniper - and he was a serial killer, not in the "mass shooting" category.

The V-Tech shooter Cho was Korean. Definitely mentally ill and was receiving therapy while enrolled at the school.

why do people mention the 2nd amendment like it was written just last year? it was written in 1778 and is so out of date with our countries behavior. they passed and amendment to ban alcohol and then revoked it 10 years later. they can do the same with this and start over.

its amazing to me people can get a gun with no background check. In PA anyone can go to the Oaks Gun show each Spring and walk out with a gun no questions asked. and people dont think thats wrong?

Your freedom to drive a vehicle is restricted. Once upon a time there was no speed limits, no age requirements, no license required, no road rules for driving. Driving deaths were remarkably high in relation to miles driven. Now with a few simple rules - seat belts, age minimums, speed limits, a road test prior to licensing, deaths are remarkably low in relation to how many miles are driven.

The left or any rational person never challenges the right to own a gun, save a few commie libs on the far edges who probably spend their time plotting eco terror. But I don't think a few simple rules impede on that right. In fact not having them is clearly impeding on many people's rights - namely rule one of the Constitution, The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

We're not. Overall crime is down across the board. Let's not pretend stuff like this just started happening. With the internet and 24/7 news, it's just easier to hear about it. I always get a kick out of people longing for the good old days when everyone was nicer. Ever been to NY in the 70's? A sewer. Worst murder rate in the country.

Kills 13 people including five of his own children and all four of their mothers, as well as a couple of in-laws. He survived, and said that he killed his children because he wanted to save them from the racism he experienced as a child of a white mother and a black father.

Nobody was ever saying that George Banks was a thug or a terrorist. They recognized him for what he was, a kook, which is why he's still alive today despite having exhausted all of his appeals.

Same thing goes for the Navy Yard shooter and Colin "Black Rage Defense" Ferguson. Everyone knew they were nuts.
