This nitwit reminds me an awful lot of Anthony "Hardy" Williams, that fruitcake who thought he was a shoo in for CoP mayor but got trounced in the primaries. There was a softball article in the Inky yesterday detailing how "Hardy" was a "victim" of a mortgage scam in which he lent his credit to a struggling homeowner in South Jersey without having ever met her or seen the house. Shenanigans ensued. And of course he told the story while in his lawyer's office. I'll provide more information at a later time.

But I digress.... back to that idiot Fattah. No wonder why the CoP is a hot mess. Idiots keep voting in the same crooks for decades just because they have a "D" next to their names. You reap what you sow...

Oh, and Chakha Junior is a trainwreck in his own right. I think the feds are on to him as well. Not to worry, Chakha will probably cruise to reelection regardless...

This must just be the tip of the iceberg - only a few years of his long career and only the things they have solid evidence on. I skimmed the text of the indictment. It included:
1) illegal campaign funding ($1M loan, when limit was $20k)
2) using campaign funds for personal expenses, 200k was used for WAM(walking around money)
3) encouraging person who loaned the cash to create a fake non-profit that he could funnel public money to for repayment
4) selling government appointments
5) money laundering via the fake sale of his TV News wife's Porsche (maintenance and insurance paid for by the campaign, of course) in order to pay for $430k Poconos vacation home
6) paying his son's student loans with campaign money (they haven't yet gotten into how his son landed Charter School contracts)
7) hiring fake staffers as favors

The CoP politicians are disgusting. The corruption seems to permeate everything. Politicians, judges, mobsters and unions are all so connected that it is hard to tell which is which. Half of Streets's cronies got pinched, the school superintendent, the sheriff, Fumo, a half dozen other state reps, Fattah, some Union officials got it for torching a Chestnut hill construction site. The police have gotten caught repeatedly stealing and seizing illegally. Lots have things have done to light recently. Seems to be pervasive.

Prostate, Phil. They didn't get it all when I had the prostectomy. So, I had radiation which didn't work and been on chemo since then but it has stopped working, too. So, I've decided to take the final shot at it with experimental drugs. UF has a research department with many trials going on. I picked going there because I'll be only two hours away from my sister and no more cold winters-

odds of any of this leading to the jail time it deserves?
maybe they should make such things capital crimes and it will be more of a deterrent.
