Forham rolled it up on Penn today. I saw that Neibrich (sp?) played the whole game. Villanova could have scored 70 on Penn and probably 60 today. By rolling up scores, they are probably trying to make the Villanova loss look like a fluke. The Patriot League is horrible and the only challenge they have left is Army.

Though I didnotice Penn got about 570 total yards in offense.

When five minutes remain in the 3rd quarter, your team is leading 50-22 and your 1st string QB is still throwing the ball, you are trying to roll up the score. When 2:08 remains in the game, you are leading 57-22 and you kick a FG rather than take a knee, you are most definitely rolling up the score. Shame Fordham.

Are they doing that to improve poll position and a better seeding in the FCS playoffs? Because they can't win the Patriot's AQ spot until next year when everyone's at the scholarship limit?

Yeah, it's classless...but Fordham's an at-large who needs to demonstrate they deserve a shot for playing for the FCS championship. Looking at how bad Patsy is this year, and how strong some of the other conferences are, Fordham's got to do what it's got to do, you know?

Them doing this only makes VU look better, you know. Here's hoping for a NDSU-VU championship game between the two likely top seeds (should things hold up).

Speaking of rolling up the score. JMU beat Towson yesterday 62 to 7. They were leading 41 to 7 at the start of the 4th quarter. JMU scored 21 points in the 4th. Bad blood between these 2 schools? Or is there some other reason for that kind of activity.
