One of my partners worked for Thompson. He was single at the time and some of the stories he has are legendary. My partner was kind of his guy so he'd scramble for Valentine's Day reservations, all kinds of crazy stuff. He loved Thompson, said he was a very decent guy. Not always on top of the dating but cool dude. Sad to hear of his passing.
