AD Mark Jackson has told both the Inquirer's Jeff Neiburg and the AP's Dan Gelston that Kyle Neptune will return as Villanova's coach for the 2024-25 season.
“I think we have the right guy in place to get us where we need to go,” Jackson told Neiburg.
“I don’t want to be naive and say I’m not aware of how unhappy a lot of people are. It’s my job to pay attention to all of it. I listen to all of it. I ingest all of it. I know it impacts our head coach, too. It hurts him more than anybody else," Jackson told Gelston.
Perhaps not a huge surprise here...it felt like a long shot that Nova would move on from a coach in just two years...but considering how those two years have gone and the position the program finds itself in, was also fair to wonder if the school would make a change in its MO. It does not appear that will be the case.
