Lady Cats edge Penn 55-54

Carolyn Coyer scored 17 with key baskets on drives and Trey along with defense, boards, steals and tie-ups. Buford scored 15, hitting 3 of first 4 treys. She and Emily Leer helped Block shots and get boards against Penn's bigs. Penn's now 8-4 team is a really good Quaker team. VU won a very hard fought game with Penn failing to win on last second inside shots amid tough VU defense.

I was wrong on Buford. She had 12 on 4 treys. Kane was a force with Coyer on our comeback from being down 7. Sunday's game at 3:00 will be on Fox1 TV.

I did get tickets, and my son and I will be at Flip
and Baileys, I was at the first vusports.com social,
and I doubt that we had two dozen people there.
My son is a Cuse grad who lives in Bryn Mawr while
I am a Nova grad who lives a little south of Colgate
