I was watching him intently last night to see how he would react to playing in his home town, and as the article states and is his MO, he took it all in stride. The first half I only remember the one 3-ball attempt, but I also remember him playing very hard on the defensive end...as hard as I have seen. In the second half he was attacking DePaul's matador defense every time he saw a gap.
He is quietly shooting 40% from deep in BE play, and given the ball to start the offense way more not. I would like to see him really take over a game, but that is clearly not needed most nights, and not what he is trying to be this year.
Bottom line...lucky to have him!
