watching the game again this morning. Some thoughts
A. We were really sloppy in the first 2-3 minutes with turnovers, missed shots, etc. Yet our defense kept Kansas from creating an early 8-0 or 10-0 run
B. Ochefu was really outstanding when he touched the ball on offense. Felt like we should have gotten him more looks, rather than less. He was also a beast on the boards
C. Arch sat quite a bit in the waning minutes of the first half with two fouls. Our team held their own with Brunson and Booth out there
D. HUGE three from KJ at the end of the half. Great timeout and play call
E. As has been mentioned elsewhere, Bridges energy level was fantastic. He made us not miss KJ with the four fouls, while clearly not as good on offense, he's our best defender
F. Kansas seemed really tight on offense - more than a couple of air balls in the first half. We just seemed to want it more
G. We played a lot of 1 guard, 4 forward in the second half (if you count Hart, Beidges and KJ as forwards)
H. I think Kansas was a good matchup for us, actually a better matchup than Miami. They're good, they're deep, and skilled at every possession, but they did not have the ability to really abuse off the dribble. I think our zone had something to do with that
I. I think we got the better of the whistles, or at least didn't get hurt. Bad calls both ways, but overall we got more of the 50/50 calls
J. Last point - our bench was the difference. MB, DR, and PB played great minutes for us and I think most would have said Kansas had a depth advantage
