Hamels has sucked in 2 starts since trade and is now hurt with a groin strain (aka sore vaginal canal)

Meanwhile prospects back from Texas are raking and dealing and look like future studs.

Splash the keyboards, CoP. You may have finally won a trade.

Slight groin issue. No DL.

Not sure how anyone can declare a winner after two weeks and when not one player the Phillies received has played in ML yet.

But I hope you're right.
Hope so too, this board will have a lot more traffic when the new wave of 4 for 4'ers see some winning teams.

I hear there's a group of incoming freshman equally dedicated to internet forums heading to nova this fall. Eric can really increase revenue if he makes an appearance at orientation and does a powerpoint on tjc

What happened to tjc's thread in which he gave that nutjob kid "credit" for his delusional plan to have a 14,000 seat arena right in the middle of campus where Connelly Center currently stands?

What do you mean, nutjob? He took the average attendance of the verizon center, the wells fargo center and lou carnaseca arena to come up with his robust analysis.

Let's see how Eickhoff looks in start 4-5-6. He's got pretty good stuff but these first starts are generally throw-aways since alot of hitters haven't faced the guy live.

I'll be happy with a consistent upgrade over the Jerome Williams', Kevin Correia's, Sean O'Sullivan's, David Buchanan's of the world. That's not too much to ask, right?

My favorite Phils starters who absolutely dominated until the scouting report got around:

Pat Combs
Dennis Cook

Learned early to curb my enthusiasm. But we'll see.
