Tom Coughlin, Andy Reid, And Chip Kelly

Andy Reid used to be Eagles HC. Chip KELLY used to be Eagles HC. Tom Coughlin better not be next Eagles head coach.

Why all the hostility? Oh, I know!!
Eagles are a historically below average franchise. Yet for a number of yrs a very good head coach named Andy Reid was in charge and the team became a consistent winner. But then suddenly a bunch of nfc championship games and a trip to the super bowl was not good enough for the high standards of the CoP eagles so Reid got fired in favor of some guy who ran a gimmick college offense who had never coached in the nfl before. While most outsiders laughed at this move, the CoPers knew it was guaranteed to work. Meanwhile, over in new jersey the giants were being coached by some 80 year old man who generally sucked but got lucky a couple seasons, according to the CoP faithful.
But where do we stand today? Andy Reid is coaching arguably the best team in football. Chip Kelly didn't even make it through his 3rd season. And the eagles are looking to hire that crazy old guy from new jersey.
No wonder donkey puncher is so upset about this thread.

Ball, this surprises me a little in your thinking. While Coughlin had some bad last years he is in the same mold as your boi Belicheck.
Fair point, it will be a typical CoP move where they trash the person when he is not on their side and then he comes there and he is a winner.
