- I thought I had leveled off after the emotion of the last 4-5 days, but reading that Curtis Sumpter attended the championship game really affected me. A lot of highs and lows of the early years of the Jay Era are captured in Curtis' career. Along with many others, he deserves a piece of this championship. Very happy that he's doing well with the Sixers.
- Alvin Gentry on Dante and Villanova: "I look at Dante and I just see a player that is totally what Villanova is about. He is tough. He is selfless. We can ask him to do anything, to guard anyone, to play any position. Every team can use a player like that."
