Virginia/Maryland Area Recommendations

Thanks for all the info guys-the arrangements were moved up so I can basically keep my original plans which is heading north Massachusetts way. Seeing as this thread has gotten a lot of attention I do need a bit of different advice-leaving on a weekday from NJ heading to Mass at around 4 PM -what's the easiest route? The way it stands I'll be driving over the Tappan Zee Bridge at about 5PM which would be a nightmare-is there another way-perhaps further up Route 87 to cut over the Hudson into Connecticut?

Thanks again-I know I'm jumping from one area of the country to another but what the hell!

I love how non-CoP'ers are the people who can give suggestions on places away from the CoP.

Is Strick the only CoP'er who has left the CoP.
Stop being silly. Of course not. G-dog claims the hottest women on the earth are in Ft. Lauderdale. So he is obviously well-traveled too.

Nd for me, the moment you smell the salt air and your stress level drops to nothing. However, I'm easy.
+28 (in honor of Werth's jersey #)

ND will probably tell me to put my head in a wood-chipper, but I agree with this vacation choice.

It's a solid vacation choice. Better to make the short drive to the shore, throw a rusty beach chair in the sand next to some CoPers and take a nap in the sand while the kids throw sand at each other than to map out a complex winery tour schedule and scheme about leveraging negative AirBnB reviews into refunds. But it's so close that it feels a little less special.

What if I told you that the beach was in Bucks County?

One of my favorite things in the world is to wake up early, grab wawa coffee, hit the gym and then run on the beach in ocean city. If that makes me a simpleton, so be it. Along with playing with my kids-wife probably my happy place.

87 North to interstate 84 east. 87 north also gets heavy traffic on fridays during the summer though, people going up towards lake george I guess. But 87-84 is still probably the better option over slogging through 95 to connecticut

Not getting sexual here, but how do you play with your wife?

Tonight we've got an intense mini-golf outing planned.

No one has taken the lay up yet? Slipping.
