Maine (1-0/1-2) at #19 Richmond (0-0/2-1)
Last week the Black Bears opened up their CAA schedule with a home win over Rhode Island, 27-17. In 2014 Maine defeated Richmond in Orono, 33-20, an upset win since the Black Bears finished 5-6 and Richmond, 9-5, having gone to the playoffs. Maine is averaging only 12ppg while giving up 26ppg. However, those two losses were to 1-A teams in 3-1 B.C. and Tulane.
Richmond had a bye last week and should be well-rested. The Spiders last played at home vs 1-3 VMI and won, 42-10. The Spiders are averaging 31ppg and giving up 29ppg.
Since the weather may be abysmal, let's give the Spiders a 24-14 win. Maine is at Albany next and Richmond hosts Elon.

#31 Stony Brook (1-1/2-1) at #6 JMU (1-0/4-0)
The Seawolves lost at William & Mary last weekend, 21-0. Once again they lead the CAA in defense giving up only 12ppg while averaging 23ppg.
In 2014 JMU came from behind to defeat Stony Brook on the road, 27-24. The Dukes are averaging a whopping 50ppg and give up 24 a game. Last week JMU defeated a 1-A and AAC team on the road in 1-3 SMU, 48-45.
With Stony Brook's defense and some possible bad weather, let's give JMU a 28-14 win Harrisonburg.
Stony Brook hosts Towson on October 17 after a bye week and JMU plays at Towson on the 10th.

Elon (1-0/2-2) at #20 New Hampshire (0-1/2-2)
Congrats to Coach Rich Skrosky who got his first CAA win since joining the Conference by defeating Towson last week, 17-13. Towson also gave Rhode Island their only CAA win last year in the last game of the season, 13-7. Elon is averaging a meager 12 ppg and give up 20 a game.
UNH defeated 1-3 Central Connecticut St. last week at home, 57-14. The Wildcats average 25ppg and give up 24 a game. After a bye week UNH will travel to William & Mary on the 17th and Elon travels to Richmond next weekend.
Let's give UNH a 31-10 win in Durham this weekend.

#25 William & Mary (1-0/2-1) at Delaware (0-1/1-3)
Should be an interesting game in Newark this weekend. The Tribe may have the best two running backs in the CAA in Mikal Abdul-Saboor and Kendell Anderson, who just ran for 191 yards against the best defense in the CAA in Stony Brook. Delaware's defense is built to stop the run (just ask Villanova who could only get 90 rushing yards). The Tribe has a very nice QB in JR Steve Cluley and a nice receiver in Jack Armstrong. The Tribe also has a nice defense giving up only 14ppg and holding Stony Brook scoreless last week.
Delaware lost at 3-1 1-A North Carolina last weekend, 41-14. The Blue Hens average only 17ppg and give up 24 a game. The Hens lost in Williamsburg last year, 31-17.
The weather and defense should keep the scoring down, so let's give the Tribe a 21-14 win over the Hens. W&M plays at Villanova next weekend and Delaware travels to Rhode Island.

Albany (1-1/2-2) at Holy Cross (1-2)
The Great Danes sweated out a 17-14 win at home over 2-2 Duquesne last weekend. Albany is averaging 23ppg and gives up 29 a game.
The Crusaders won at 1-3 Monmouth, 27-19. Next, they almost upset Towson on the road before losing, 29-26. Next, was a loss to 1-3 Colgate, 31-14 at home. In 2014 Albany came from behind to defeat Holy Cross at home, 14-13.
The Great Danes to win by a touchdown, 24-17. Albany hosts Maine next weekend.

Rhode Island (0-2/0-4) at Brown (0-2)
This rivalry game last year went to Brown on the road, 20-13. This may be the Rams only chance for a win this year but how can they since they only average 8ppg! They also give up 38 a game. Sagarin has Rhode Island rated 231 out of 253 teams in 1-A and 1-AA. The Rams lost at Maine last week, 27-17.
Brown opened up with a loss to 2-1 Bryant at home, 20-16. Last week they lost to Top 25 Harvard, 53-27. Brown went 5-5 last year and URI was 1-11.
Give the Brown Bears a 24-14 Ivy win over the CAA Rams.

Last week was a 5-3 pick week getting the Villanova - Penn game wrong, the Elon home upset of Towson and the JMU upset of 1-A SMU wrong. 30-5 record for the season.

GO CATS - REST UP AND HEAL UP AND PREPARE WELL FOR THE TRIBE!

HC killing Albany 27 - 0 at half. I think PAFranklin posted that if Cats can beat W&M they then can beat Albany, Towson, Maine and URI. W&M game is soooooo important.
