Watching this team miss layup after layup and dunk after dunk is worse than watching them take freaking 4 3 pointers 27 seconds in to the shot clock down 7 BUT IN A ROW. O rebound missed 3. O rebound missed 3.

I am obviously no X's and O's guy but X were doubling and sometimes TRIPLING the ball on the perimeter - we cant swing and score on that? We just decide to huck 3s? WOW.

I may be reading too much into things but it seems like Jay may be getting a bit more irritated with Jalen's mistakes, on both ends of th court. Seems like he has a bit quicker hook on him these days when he makes mistakes and Jay is getting into him more when he comes to the sideline after a mistake. Maybe Jay is just getting more comfortable with Jalen and pushing him a bit harder as season progresses. Maybe it is just the natural progression of the season. Seems like Jalen is still learning our defensive system in terms of rotations and proper placement when he is on the weak side.

Kid is a stud but his defense tonight was nonexistent.

Villanova now leads the nation in free throw shooting percentage at 78%.

You would think that would translate to better outside shooting.

Huge win @ Creighton. A win vs Cats on Saturday and they are right in the bubble conversation.

Losses can be great teaching tools, this is the 4th time I am saying this. This group has done an incredible job of bouncing back from losses. Tonight was tough, this team will lick their wounds and get ready for Saturday. That team we played tonight could win a NC. Kind of like a team we know played on 12-31-15.

In fact it's probably the best thing to happen now. We have not played well since we got to number 1. Arch needs to wake up for the next run. Brunson is a turnover waiting to happen, and Josh is in a funk. It all can be fixed and let's forget tonight.
