Don't know why he was here, but I go to school at University of South Carolina and saw Kris Jenkins hanging out with the USC basketball team. I assume he was just here visiting a friend on the team before school at Nova starts back up. He looked in excellent shape though.

When he coached at Gorman Tony Sanches had the best of everything: a fully customized weight room that would put many college facilities to shame, a plush locker room with all the modern bells and whistles ,hydrotherapy pool and a roster full of players who would go on to top level programs ( think VU # 23 Lorenzo Fertitta, a Soph DB ) .He had connections to big money, - the Fertitta Athletic Center at BG bears the family name of Station Cross and Ultimate Fighting Championship's co- founding brothers. Can he coach? His last six seasons at BG he went 85-5 (WOW). Randall Cunningham"s son played there. Lorenzo Fertitta's younger brother is at ND. The Fertitta family is known as a very prominent Catholic family. Can anyone make UNLV have a winning football program? This Sanches guy might.

For what it is worth, I have a buddy in the athletics department at Pace University and he told me that Nova is planning on playing Pace this year in November (off campus - probably at WFC) - I assume it would be this year's exhibition.

No papers have been signed yet, but the deal is close. Could always fall through.

Villanova University A.D. Vince Nicastro announced on August 11th that Dr. Carissa Adams had been hired to serve as the Wildcats head women's rowing coach. Adams replaces Jack St. Clair who retired following the 2014-15 season.

Dr. Adams brings successful head coaching experience to Villanova. She served as the head women's rowing coach at the University of California Davis from 2006-2015.

IMO it is about time that Villanova takes women's rowing seriously and puts some real money into what has been an underfunded program.

it was announced on Twitter that Villanova secured a verbal commit from LB Keeling Hunter from Tennessee. He will be doing a PG year at Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ this upcoming season.

Tom Donnelly, a former Nova great runner, and head coach of track and Xcountry at Haverford
College for decades will be inducted into the HOF for coaches of those sports. His relationship
with our teams currently is still close. I believe he coached Marcus after Marcus' graduation. He
is a great coach and a true gentleman.

I received a gift from a client of mine today whose husband was Donald " the kid " Griffin. Donald graduated in the early 50's and served in Korea. He was roommates with 4 other Villanovan's all who served in WW2 and are now deceased , some of the other members names were Frank aka Pug , Stan , Steve and George. My clients husband had fallen recently on hard medical times and she wished me to have this stunning painting of our campus which she Commisioned and artist do for her husband. I was humbled and flattered for such a gift. I guess this Villanova 5 group had some stories , any event I thought I'd share

I am really enjoying watching the PGA at this magnificent venue......I have been Very Fortunate to have played this course and the other two great courses on the property several times....( all on GM's dime)......If you ever have a chance,it's a MUST Play.....there is also a new course about 90 mins. away that has already been awarded a Major......easy to get to,only 1 hour North of Milwaukee and the Kohler American Club is truly a 5 star resort.

3) They were on Dylan Painter early but did not make the list
4) Projected not to make the NCAAs this coming season after the NIT last season
