Couple of quick 2015-16 Schedule Questions for the board. My apologies if I missed these in other posts during the busy summer.

1) Has the decision been made on 3 or more WFC games this season given the Eastern Regional in Philly and our eligibility.
2) Understanding NHL, NBA, concerts factor into scheduling, when is the anticipated date for final schedule release?
3) Eric mentioned that the All-Access breakfast and practice is a possibility this season but scheduling was an issue. Any update? The event was outstanding last year. Worthy of an additional athletic fund donation in support of the breakfast, practice and football game.

Phase 1 upgrades to the Davis Center will be completed on 01 September.
Highlights include:
Main stairwell re-do to include a three-floor, living history of Villanova basketball.
Office lobby spruce up including expansion of the trophy case
Cinema revamp - taking it from being a film room to multi-use for meetings, educational resource, coaching and film-room.
Paul Arizin trophy case - to house memorabilia donated to the school by the Arizin family.
Phase 2 begins in the spring - I believe the mods for a training/dining facility come with that. Feel free to call the school and donate $ to help out!

This Sunday, Kevin Hart is performing a sold-out show at Lincoln Financial Field.

Has anyone ever seen a comedian in such a large venue? I know thirty years ago, Steve Martin used to play stadiums, but who has since? Putting aside whether or not this little dude is funny, I would think this show would be AWFUL...

This miniseries has everything 4.6 loves. A connection to The Wire, racial protest, NIMBY citizens and a heavy dose of Springsteen.

I think Parts 1 & 2 last night were great. My favorite part is playing "Spot the Wire Alumni." Last night, I spotted Levy, Orlando and Brother Mouzone.

It's amazing that something like this actually happened in real life. A federal judge threatening to bankrupt a city with fines and throwing council members in jail for contempt of court.

But in all seriousness, last night's game showed why they got Murray and Matthews and how they're an upgrade over McCoy. With the d-line and LB pressure, the secondary might actually be decent.

The top returning wide receiver on the UD football team was charged with first-degree assault after a fight in the football locker room on Aug 13. He struck a teammate with a helmet.. The victim was taken to hospital, treated and released. The perp was committed to Howard Young Youth Correctional Facility on $25,000 cash bail. Also issued a no contact order with the victim, and the university, and a trespass for the campus. He caught 31 passes for 488 yds and 4 TDs last season. He had 81 career catches for 993 yds and 8 TDs He also ran the ball often.. The last two seasons he carried 32 times for 258 yds , a 7.6 yd ave., and one TD.
The young man was senior honors history major, with a minor in restaurant management.
Damm shame.

Mark Jackson is the new Director of Athletics at Villanova University, effective September 21. Most recently, Mark served as the Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Southern California (USC) and oversaw a number of sports (its flagship football program, as well as baseball and women’s lacrosse) and support services, including sports medicine, strength and conditioning, nutrition, security and equipment and apparel operations.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Government from Colby College in 1995 and a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy from Trinity College in 1997.

I suppose with Jeremy Wang gone, no bus trips to Fordham and Towson this year. I don't think there is anybody else who even knows or thinks ahead about these things, now that Jeremy is gone.
