.....who was sitting in for Doug Gottleib. Wow! Pat sounding like he's still on the staff. He was over the top in his praise of Jay, the kinds of kids Jay recruits and the excellence of the program in general. Went so far as to say he's still got Nova blood coursing through his veins. I couldn't help but think that the sound bites from this interview could help us win a recruiting battle with the Nits sometime down the road. That, or maybe I was hearing the words of a guy who's one day going to replace Jay.

-Go to NASA and Space Center Houston on Sunday (message me if interested)
-Go visit the museum district (if you get in tomorrow (Thursday), a lot of the museums are free after a certain time))
-Go to the Houston Zoo & Hermann Park
-Go to Discovery Green (where the concerts will be happening: http://www.ncaa.com/marchmadness/musicfest)
-Go to the Galleria (you can ice skate there too!)
-Go to the Aquarium Downtown
-Go to 64 ft. Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park
-Need a walk or run? Rice University has a great trail around it's beautiful campus and it's only an 8-12 minute drive from the stadium. Rice is right next to the world's largest Medical Center as well! You can also check out Buffalo Bayou Park, but that is a not as close to the stadium.
-Grab some BBQ (I recommend Demeris and Goode Company--if you do Goode Company, make sure you check out The Armadillo Palace next door. It is owned by the same people and has all things Texas in it including saddle stools!)
-Grab some Tex-Mex (Molina's or Ninfa's on Navigation are great. If you go to El Patio, get the Felix Dip)
-Get Whataburger (Pronounced What-a-burger really fast). It is the better, Texas version of In-&-Out (sorry Cali people...)
-Get Beck's Prime, the best gourmet fast food...oxymoron? you decide
-YOU HAVE TO EAT A KOLACHE!!! OMG these are amazing and supposedly don't exist up here which is so annoying.
-Go visit the Downtown Tunnels, a tunnel system linking 95 blocks. Don't be alarmed if you don't see restaurants and shops downtown because they are all under the street
-Houston Wine Merchant offers free wine tastings on Fridays from 5:30-7:30 pm and Saturday from 2-4 pm
-Go two-steppin' at Wild West

...Buddy was good not great...threw up some bricks...we jacked up a ton of ill-advised threes...shot selection overall was bad...average D at best...Ochefu got few touches but when he did was very effective...had a great move with a monster slam and an unbelievable drive from the 3 point line for a bucket...we played no half court trap defense so they had almost a full shot clock every possession...we played no zone...will be interesting to see if Jay uses either/both this time around with their heady 3 point shooting....Oklahoma hit some lucky this-is-our-day shots...absolutely no reason we can't win tomorrow...feel even more confident after rewatching the game...

Is that where everyone without tickets to the pregame are going??

Was so excited about the final 4 - bought 4 tshirts for myself - paid for 2 day shipping - they still haven't shipped.

I know they're facing a massive influx - but seriously?

I called - no offer for money back on shipping - no insight as to when they'd ship and he made a vague reference to maybe I wasn't going to get my stuff.

So frustrating - I could have bought on Nike.com but I assume our book store gets a better cut if I buy from them - next time I'll think twice.

No one has posted about him snitching on Nick Young cheating on Iggy Azalea? He took video of Swaggy P saying he took some 19 year old girl from the club. Stephen Jackson was on ESPN saying "snitches get stitches." I get the kid didn't leak it himself but wtf is he doing with that video and why did he take it in the first place?!
