i guess there was some marathon in the CoDB yesterday because I saw quite a few people wearing their CoDB marathon medals around the city today. Is this normal? Reeks of douchebaggery. The day of its acceptable as long as you just came from marathon and are still in running attire. Once you shower and change, that medal should never go around your neck again at least in public.

Lost 90-58 in exhibition game vs D-II St. Thomas Aquinas.

90-58.

For a short while yesterday there were $75 tickets (including fees) in Sec E-2 available on StubHub for the FDU game. I grabbed 2 of them. Great seats. Somebody must have really wanted to get rid of them.

So I'm up in Meteghan Nova Scotia, 25 miles north of Yarmouth. Refitting a dragger to bring back to the states.
I'm working with this fellow Paul (amongst a host of others), so naturally we're shooting the crap about stuff. Keep in mind, this is the boondocks, bigtime.
Paul's 59. he tells me his Mom worked at a Frenchies way back. Frenchies are stores that sell "recycled," clothes. There are 2 of them within 10 miles of Meteghan currently. They get pallets of clothes from the States, and go thru them, keeping the decent items, and putting them out for retail sale. The clothes that are not worth resale for various reasons, are relegated to become rags.
So Paul's mom is going thru a pallet of clothes, and comes upon a jacket......with the logo, Indiana State. She is intrigued, and while checking it out, holding it up, feels something in the pocket. A ring. Larry Birds final four ring.

It's Friday and I'm bored, but was reading some article on college hoops and getting excited. I was then thinking about the evolution of our offense from take 'em with Foye/Ray/Lowry to high ball screens and pick and rolls with Scottie and Fisher, back to take 'em with Maalik (for one year) then a high ball screen and pick and roll but more for shots as opposed to drives to the hoop. With Brunson (and Booth) what will happen?

Anyway, I wanted to provide a few predictions that may, but likely won't happen.

1) While we still shoot a lot of three's, we will settle less and take the ball to the hoop, which will likely cause a few more wild shots in the paint

2) We'll go with a front line of Hart/Jenkins at the 4/5, on average, for 5-7 minutes a game...I can see us doing that against G'Town, especially when Govan isn't in the game (I can also see us not doing it at all in certain games)

3) Ochefu, Reynolds and Jenkins, will all get post touches every game

4) Especially with Hart at the 4, we'll give him a lot of iso's (similar to Dante when he could hit the 17 footer...that was just an iso play to him)

5) Ochefu averages a double double, if he can play 28 minutes a game.
