FCS Preseason Media Poll for 2015

#1 and #2 NO Dakota St and ILL St , no surprise. We posted about the 3 and 4 spots when the coaches poll had Nova at 3 Sam Houston at 4. Media reversed that . Our Cats are 4 Sam is 3. Costal Carolina is 5. CAA comrades - UNH at 9,JMU at 12, Richmond at 18 while W&M, Delaware, Towson and Maine also received votes. Fordham is 20.
So in the two polls that count our guys are 3 and 4. Not too shabby
Let the games begin.

OT: What other sports are you crazy about?

When it comes to professional sports, I truly am a big Yankees fan and a huge Islanders fan. I go to about 5 Yanks games a year, go to about 15 Islanders games. I like the Jets, but grew up more of a Bears fan, I don't live or die with either team though, I just like playing fantasy more than anything else. I love college football on Saturdays in the fall and grew up watching Villanova Football so I do take it seriously and really get into it. I appreciate a good college lacrosse game. I love The Masters, and so on. I watch about 2 NBA games a year. Regardless, like most guys, I like sports, but nothing else I follow comes close to my obsession with Villanova hoops.

Are most people on the board like this? If I had to show a diagram showing the sport I care about the most at the top and how much more I care about it than other sports that I follow it would look something like this......

-Villanova Basketball

-Villanova Football
-Islanders Hockey
-Yankees Baseball

-Jets Football
-College Football (ND, UGA, etc.)

Hillary's People

May be losing a little sleep after last night over the prospect of 3 separate 1 on 1 debates with Carly, how ever slim those chances may be. Her lack of toughness and principles on any issue would be so transparent when showcased next to Carly, and Carly would shred her record. She will play her perceived weakness of HP layoffs as a reason we need smaller government/fewer regulations, because the status quo favors companies merging and growing, and that is at the expense of American Workers. Hillary most likely will never have to face this prospect, and I am not sure any of the other Repubs will be as effective against Hillary. I wish the Koch's would get on team Carly, because if they do, 2016 could be mighty interesting.

Frosh update

Hearing that Jarret McClenton (slot) & Aaron Forbes (RB) are getting reps with 2 deep and appear to be destined to contribute this season.

Rest of freshman are not currently in rotations that would see them play this season.

Brandon Chadbourn, talented frosh WR, suffered a serious lower leg injury today & will most likely be a redshirt. Hate injuries.

Frosh DE Datrell Reed & frosh RB D'Andre Pollard have yet to practice recovering from injuries.

Hearing Malaguti is indeed playing MLB behind Cherry & redshirt freshman Jeremy Steeb. Wiley is playing outside LB behind Major, Calitro, and Shockley.

Javin DeLaurier

"Corey Evans @coreyevans_10
Villanova has offered 2016 STAB forward Javin DeLaurier
@ny2lasports
12:04 PM - 8 Aug 2015"

little weekend excitement, he's a four star 6/9 200lbs PF from Charlottesville Va.
Ranked #40 and already has some impressive colleges on his list....
w/ TX, Gtown, UNC, and Ville already in the mix (plus Princeton & Vandy), Jay & comp must know something and/or putting the spurs to the other candidates for a decision.

"Really blowing up!"
This kid is great and would be a perfect running mate for Omari!
Guess they're truly serious about getting that other Big.

Oh, per Zags this could be a short lived recruitment cause he's cutting his lists soon, but gotta be in it to ........
