Article about Jay and the program in it.
Written by Mike Lopresti.
Title is "No apologies needed for 'Nova's 33-3 season".
Lots of quotes by Coach Wright about the early exits from NCAAs.
Closes with the line "Going 33-3 should mean never having to say you're sorry"
The highlighted quote next to the pic of Jay is "[Early exits are] not going to define us within our program. It's going to define us outside of our program and we accept that".
Article gives Jay Wright a lot of credit for having the proper perspective.

In the Clark Francis section he ranks the Top 50 recruiting classes of 2016 [sic] and Villanova checks in at #48 with Brunson, Divincenzo and Delaney.

St. John's at #14
Marquette #22
Providence #28
Georgetown #34

Big East needs to have a better recruiting cycle this time with the HS class of 2016.

You will defend these things till death

Certain posters here have developed an undying passion for irrationally defending certain things without any signs of conceding their deficiencies. Whether it's a political idea, sports executive, or collar stay brand, let's take time on this thread to admit these items so that we can move forward from these circular discussions.

Things that I, NickleDimer, will defend until I am 6 feet under:
Donovan McNabb's on-field performance
the majesty of Pat Burrell's swing
Mike Piazza
my desire for local sports franchises to attempt to be competitive

3D Printer Update

The FDA has today approved a drug made by 3D printers. The printer is able to reduce the size of a pill while increasing the amount of the prescribed drug. It won't be long before pharmacies will do this and doctors will be able to customize prescriptions to individual patients. This will greatly benefit patients who have drug reactions because the doc can tailor prescriptions precisely in combination with other drugs patients are taking. And to think when I first posted about this revolutionary technology, the usual suspects spammed the thread with their usual garbage!

Suggestion for Depth Chart

Eric -- love the depth chart and was thinking about a suggestion to improve it slightly -- putting some sort of indicator next to the players Nova has offered vs the players we are just keeping tabs on. I know you can click on individual players to see the offers but sometimes rivals doesn't update as fast as the board info does. Nothing fancy necessary -- maybe just an * next to their name

Gretchen?

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) - A Florida woman is suspected of drowning a 2-week-old puppy in a Nebraska airport bathroom so she could board a plane.

Grand Island Police Sgt. Stan Steele says 56-year-old Cynthia V. Anderson of Edgewater, Florida, was denied access to a flight Friday at the Central Nebraska Regional Airport because the puppy was so young and not properly contained. Steele says she tried to conceal the Doberman in her carry-on bag.

He tells The Grand Island Independent Anderson then was seen entering a bathroom before another woman reported finding a dead Doberman puppy in the toilet.

Steele says the Central Nebraska Humane Society conducted an autopsy. It determined the animal's cause of death was drowning.

Anderson was arrested on animal abuse charges. She's being held in the Hall County Jail.
