GREAT WIN BY MY RED BULLS despite being down to 10 men for nearly 60 minutes! Tremendous Atmosphere. Quite a few thoughts on the game
BWP is an assassin and probably should have had a hat trick. The linesman screwed up an offsides call that should have given the red bulls another break away goal. Could easily have been 4 or 5 nothing at one point with all the breakaway chances. NYCFC's back line was dreadful. I was also surprised with how disinterested David Villa appears with playing. Was excited to see a world class player first hand and instead i just watched a player sulk for 70 minutes. Granted he is coming off an "injury" but still I hope for the NYCFC supporters sake he at least acts interested in some games. Large contrast from getting to watch Henry play the last few years and how Kaka is playing for Orlando.
Mix also did not look great. In his current form, he should not even sniff the USMNT roster. I'm glad Klinnsman saw it firsthand. He was awful for a lot of the game. Dax and Sacha ate his lunch in the midfield.

I really like the way Marsch is coaching this group of players. Red bulls stayed aggressive despite being down a man for so long


Once both players were subbed out, NYCFC brought a lot more energy. Poku should get a lot more playing time. He could develop into a real good player in this league. It was truly night and day. They brought A LOT more effort and generated a lot more quality chances

I was looking at the schedules this fall and noticed that homecoming is the weekend of November 14th. Any clue why? Weather is quite cooler that month, and what are they going to do about hoops mania and the blue/white game? Those events can't really take place after the season starts...
