Any of you jack wagons ever tried the Squatty Potty?

I received a Squatty Potty as sort of a gag Christmas gift and the freakin' thing has changed my life. My eliminations are swift, they are clean, and most importantly they are complete. When you are done, you are done. Gone are the days of finishing a dump only to have a few remnants remaining, ready to pop out like a prairie dog.

The Squatty Potty is a cheap, crudely made product that maybe costs $20 or $30, but it is a life changer. Highly recommended.

The 9/11 murders, count suicide bombers too many to count in the middle east and elsewhere, going back to the Beruit Marine Barracks slaughter on Reagan's watch. Life is now considered too cheap by many. When I was young the only the Japanese Kamakazzi pilots who killed over 10,000 US sailors in the last days of WWII were comparable.

Now anyone is subject to sudden death by a mad-man. See the young children of Sandy Hook school and numerous other shooting incidents enabled by the NRA.

Our own right wing religious zealots hope for the end days beginning with a war starting in Israel.

Today the disrespect for women and minorities in the US indicates a complete lack of faith and morals. Massive amounts of time are wasted on the internet, video games and movies which revolve around the end of the world, slaughter of mankind and downright depressive themes.

Shape up people.

I posted this inside of another thread but wanted to highlight the information in case any one was interested and missed it.

I saw this article after a Villanova friend here in DC posted it to his FB feed. Is this really such a problem on the Gtown campus? Was wondering what it is like on our campus. I would think that it is a mix but that most of the VU students wear Villanova gear and not gear from another school.

I know at the 7:30 pm mass at Dahlgren chapel on Gtown's campus that you mostly see Hoya gear. There are a few other with Big Ten/Ivy/SEC but certainly not a majority.

I think this is a great promotion and is a clever way to promote the school.

Gavin Schilling and Lennard Freeman. After watching almost all of the Sweet 16 and Elite 8, I am more convinced Jay knows exactly what he's doing and what it takes to succeed in March. I'm not interested in debating size here only to say had we had one of these two, we would've been playing today with a great chance to go to the F4. Jay knew damn well we needed one more strong, athletic garbage guy. A guy who could get a key offensive rebound, put back, and clog the middle. Jay knew that and that's why he went all in on those two guys. That's what we needed when DO was struggling. I know, bad shooting is what killed us, but other teams shoot poorly and advance. We couldn't.

Jay knew this but I'm sure he was banking on the fact that DO was so much better, but one of those two guys would've have made the difference. Clearly, Jay didn't get comfortable enough with Reynolds playing those key minutes - especially when DO went to the bench.

You look at all the teams the past 4 days that won a game, they had a lot of interchangeable bangers.

Is transferring and can play right away since he graduated, any interest? He is from Baltimore so Maryland is probably a possible destination. I didn't realize that he is 6'6".

saw they may re hire Dave Leitao at DePaul. What a terrible move this would be. He didn't do anything the first go around, was very average at UVA and isn't young. Not the direction they need to be going.. A Hurley would seem to make more sense. What does DePaul know though keeping Purnell 4 years too long. Wish the BE would just dump DePaul

For the BE is a mid-major crew (foolish) - The BE made $16M or $18M in the NCAA tournament. Seems like the ACC earned more - as did the Big10. Seems the BE did better than the PAC10 and the SEC - not sure about the Big 12.

We had 11 tournament credits. As for the "mid-major" leagues like the American/A-10/WCC - I think he said that the American had 3, A-10 4, WCC 5.

...and our league only has 10 teams and we didn't even have a great year. The future looks bright - even with the naysayers in our fan base.

While listening to him super early Sunday AM Bilas said big games and big circumstances for KY are like 20 foot putts , if you make it fine go in loose. For Nova there has been the feel of constant 2 footers , better make it or all hell will break loose.interesting take

Trying to get over the disappointment and here's what I think.
In addition to the Captain obvious plus in getting him he brings a chance to take us to another level. He can bring in a fresh edge and all-American caliber which will make us tougher and leaner. We get to start anew with the best guard we have recruited since Lowry at least by rep. he buys into Jay's culture or he wouldn't be coming. When we get to March with this kid he will take over and create, score and play D making everyone better. By next March If Hart and Reynolds can hold down the fort at the 4 this kid will make everything else happen. Think positive and NC State will be a small spot in the rear view window come next March. In Jalen we trust!
