This is going to be a team looking to make a statement.
Similar to us, they share the scoring load, 4 guys average over 13 per game.
They rebound the ball well.
They attack the basket, something we have had difficulties with defensively.
They waxed Marquette at Marquette, and are playing with a ton of confidence.
They are a lock for a bid, and knowing that, and the fact that they will be playing "in their house at MSG," during the BE tourney, they are in a position to come down to philly with nothing to lose. They come in playing with house money.
In our favor, it's the last "home" game, and I'm sure our seniors are going to look to go out leaving it all on the floor, especially considering their rather pedestrian performances in the last 2 games.
The crowd should be a factor. Although the students are on break, I would think there should be a good loud Nova crowd to pump up the team.
Our depth should factor into our ability to wear out the more athletic but shorter roster Jonnies. Especially our depth at guard, giving us the ability to harass them with good on the ball pressure. Jordan has been susceptible to turnovers, although he has been playing well of late.
I see an entertaining game, with Nova finding some separation in the second half.
I do see a very game effort by the Jonnies though.
