OT: Bibi

Obviously I am no fan of Pres. Obama, but this whole fiasco with Benjamin Netanyahu is is ludicrous. Absolutely bush league move by Boehner to side step the President's office and invite a foreign President to address Congress - all in the middle of what could be historic nuclear talks with Iran.

Has anyone read this book: http://www.amazon.com/Israel-Lobby-U-S-Foreign-Policy/dp/0374531501

I came across it last night while reading about this mess. Seems like it is very interesting and very controversial. It came out in 2007, originally commissioned as an article for The Atlantic, but for reasons the The Atlantic and the authors won't speak of (gee I wonder why?) it was rejected.

In the end, the unwavering support of Israel may be the United States' biggest foreign policy blunder.

Nespresso

I recently got a Nespresso machine as a gift and am liking it so far. I've been making espresso, cappuccinos and lattes not really been using it for larger cups of coffee since I prefer to make a pot of drip coffee if I'm having a whole cup of black coffee. I'm done with the variety pack of pods that were included with the machine and now need to make a decision on which to buy in quantity.

My problem is that I don't really remember each of the varieties as I drank them. Any BWs have a nespresso? Which pods do you like best?

Flopping

Not sure if anyone saw the absolutely EGREGIOUS flop that Harden tried to pull on Lebron in the game over the weekend but he just got suspended a game for it. So happy that this happened and it needs to happen even more. It was actually the worst attempt at flopping I've ever seen because he was latching onto Lebron and trying to make it look like Lebron was dragging him somehow even though Harden was the only one doing anything. Not only did he try to get the call but he blatantly traveled which the refs didn't call because they seemed to be in shock at what was going on, but he also got the shot clock violation to boot. Pissed they won because even though I enjoy a good Lebron choke from the foul line, Harden pulled the ultimate bush league play.

I don't feel like rewriting this whole thing but just read that he got suspended for the kick to the nuts, not the flop attempt. Very saddened by that and he absolutely should have been suspended for the move he tried to pull.

Tequila

So over the past few months I've switched my cocktail of choice over to tequila. Espolon Blanco and Milagro Silver have been my primary choices, as both are good and affordable, but I've been branching out and really like Herradura and Casa Noble.

Anyone else drink tequila, if so, can you provide some recommendations?

Villanova 61, Creighton 53

Even though Villanova only shot 6-22 on threes, and got outrebounded 44-28, and even though Creighton was one of the hottest teams in the Big East, having only lost to DePaul in its last 11 Big East games, Villanova hung in there and took control of this game at the end.

Villanova certainly did an excellent job in this game cutting to the basket and getting some easy layups.

Villanova had never led by more than 2 until C. Coyer stole the ball with 5:35 remaining in the game, and passed the ball to K. Coyer for a layup. Then Villanova extended the lead to 6, on another K. Coyer layup, assisted by C. Coyer.

Villanova forced Creighton into 16 turnovers.

The ways things worked out, with St. John's getting upset at Xavier, Villanova will open the Big East tournament versus Butler, rather than Creighton, which to me seems like a good thing, because would you really want to play the same team two games in a row?
