Copa America

Doesn't match kids playing five hours a day in the favelas of Brazil from the time they can walk, or the technical skill development a kid in Germany gets from the time he can walk unfortunately.

The US women's side is better funded and developed from a young age than most countries, so the competition isn't equivalent. Plus they do have less competition for top athletes in this country.

Did the US really get ZERO shots on goal in 90 minutes.

That's cray

Correct. The US "attack" created zero shots on goal.

Roberto (Argentina's goalie) was more a part of offensive action in getting the ball passed back to him incessantly than the entirety of the American front line was involved in any offensive sets.

USA has neither the talent nor coaching to compete against countries for whom soccer is the national sport and whose best athletes play for big-time clubs. We've had just a handful of guys playing in the English Premier League; the MLS is a seniors league for internationals and they still dominate it.

I saw a lot of turnovers & unnecessary passes in scoring zone.

Dempsey is my favorite player & he looked like he was drained & not himself.

Argentina is certainly better but shame on US for not being aggressive & not even taking a shot on goal!

Game was worth watching, just to see Messi perform. What a player
