New Hampshire Primaries

ADP I agree with this but if the GOP nominates Cruz or Trump isn't the same thing in play on the Dem side even if they feel like they are settling with HRC?
I think yes with Cruz, not so sure about Trump. I think he actually has crossover appeal because he's running an anti-Washington campaign. He's more like Sanders than you think. Anti-trade, pro union, anti wall street etc...their big difference is immigration.

you guys really don't get the dem machine.Sanders is a nothing, nobody. He can't win. He's exposing every vulnerability in an HRC run. She sucks. She lost a Dem primary by 22 points. Enjoy the delusion. I predicated how she would lose and she will continue to be weakened. My mistake was realized how much dems hate her. I underestimated Bernie, because he was a nothing. but a nothing is better than HRC to Democrats. She hasn't even gotten to general. Dems hate her.

Does anyone notice that in each election adp just morphs his message to match whoever is in the lead of the GOP race?

You can paint this as some huge referendum about the collapse of the dems all you want it doesn't change the fact that she has the numbers on her side.
likely a bb2n as i havent read all the way to the end of this gem of a thread yet, but...

that she has the numbers IS THE REFERENDUM on the dem party, right?

Cruz is Anti Wall Street??!?

Here's a fun scenario: Obama democrats get really fired up by Bernie's class war fare over the next couple months. Bernie goes neck and neck with Hillary, wins the majority of regular delegates but the superdelegates decide in favor of Hillary. A giant meltdown/riot at the Dem convention in CoP that cripples the party.

Bernie, who honeymooned in the Soviet Union, pushing class war fare vs Cruz, whose father was in-prisoned by Bernie's idols and escape.

I applaud Sanders passion, but he really has little chance to win the Dem election.

Debate is awesome. Free healthcare, free education, new roads, new bridges and everything is free and equal. women, women, women, minority, minority, minority. Oh and the tooth fairy and Santa Claus are real.Regardless, I actually like Bernie. He's real and as long as they talk about the economy he beats her. Once they get into foreign policy it's clear he's over his head. He really did look old bringing up stuff half the voters know nothing about. Lastly, how about our boy Ted Cruz. He cuts an ad with a B porn star in it, gets caught and has to pull the ad. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Current (remarkable) lines on Sportsbook.com for the following individuals to be elected President of the United States:

  • Trump:+220
  • Sanders: +550
  • Rubio: +1200
  • Cruz: +1700

This election cycle has resulted in a lot of adp stream of consciousness posts, with this one in particular being a very good one. You can almost feel the indignation.

Can't we just continue on it's preferred path of shifting the cost of healthcare to the worker? i mean, we've already decimated their retirement stability by making pensions extinct. And we've raised education expectations without a viable way to pay for it (unless being an indentured servant to corporate america is "viable"). Nevermind that having healthy and educated (and thus more productive) workers is a plus for the economy. We would just prefer that they eat the cost.

It's insulting to anyone who understands how government works. Just empty promises and rhetoric while dividing everyone. At least with Bernie he's been on these issues his entire life. He believes what he's saying. HRC saying this stuff is just ridiculous and not believable. Which is why she's struggling. No one believes a word she's saying. It's insulting given her previous positions during her political life. But I get the appeal of Bernie. He's real and I tip my cap to him. We don't agree but I respect his beliefs.

We just did that with Obamacare. Middle class gets killed and the out-of-pocket costs are unaffordable. The premiums are cheap or free but you can't access care.

Look at any plan, its all public information and a well known fact for those of us who live and breath this stuff. Go find an exchange plan and study the structure. Narrow networks, high Co pays and generally not affordable. Part of the reason sign up much below the predicted level. Remember, this wad to end the uninsured issue. Last night what they talking about, ending the insured. Oops

Exactly. And I actually agreed with the basic premise. Theu just lied about it and did it wrong.

A private sector insurance program? That's what the ACA is, a Republican idea hatched from heritage. Before they went crazy.

Apparently there was a large amount of "drive by voting" for the primary. This has occurred in 2004 and 2008 in the general, but the Sanders campaign had kids from socialist neighbor states Vermont and Mass, register and vote the same day. The republicans in the state house are attempting to mandate a 30 day residency before being allowed to vote, Dems are blocking the move. Much like Penna untill the voting is limited to alive residents NH will go in the Dem column.
