Read an article in today's Daily News where Jay says Omari can practice with team but will not be able to play in games with them in Spain. Has nothing to do with his grades but something to do with his class placement. The article mentions worse case scenario would be that Spellman would have to sit out this year and then have 4 years of eligibility. At that moment that does not seem to be the case but it is something we need to keep an eye on, hopefully it gets rectified soon. I know OS played at at least 4 high schools so Im sure his academic portfolio is a maze.
