I absolutely love the shot clock changes and the increased scoring so far. More possessions is providing more opportunities for exciting basketball, and that's a good thing for the sport.

Hasn't affected shooting percentages at all yet either.

Went to a Jets game this week because I had free tickets (still no reason to go but...). I think someone could do a gr8 social documentary on people who tailgate every home game for their football team. Getting up at 7AM and driving to a game, spending huge amounts of money on food/booze/flags/football paraphernalia. You go to the same spot every week, hanging out with the same crew who you have become friends with only from parking next to them every week for x number of years. Probably invite these people to their weddings, etc.

Took a quick look at Nebraska. They are in a rebuilding year as four of their five top scorers are gone. Their second leading scorer last year, Shavon Shields, is a 6'7" 220 pound senior this season. In fact their roster has a half dozen guys listed around 6'7" 220 so we will see some SIXE tomorrow night. This could be an early test on how we do against large, physical teams. Sports Illustrated and CBS had them ranked #88 and #100+ preseason but we cannot sleep walk through this game given the number of upsets to date.
