Sedee Keita appears to be Providence's top front-court target in the class of 2016. Some Friar fans on their Scout board are curious as to why we didn't pursue him harder.

"Too bad about Gabriel from a PC perspective. This may have been discussed here but why isn't Keita being pursued by Villanova? Are they out of scholarships? Last one we got from Philly that Nova wanted no part of was Desean White. If Ed really wants Keita, and gets him, I'm thrilled. But it does give me pause that Nova is not anywhere near this kid."

Any insight ? I seem to recall Beefer and JHoops had seen Keita play and had some thoughts, but could be wrong.

Anybody watch the 30 for 30 doc on JE dupont. Saw it last night. I thought it was much more informative and better than the movie. Of course, for content it is probably not fair to compare a documentary to a major motion pix.

Knew most of the info, but it was interesting to hear so much from the wrestlers who actually lived and trained on the farm. A few villanova spottings with some video and photos of Dupont in a Villanova tshirt.

No real mention of his time as Nova wrestling coach or the Pavilion connection, thankfully.

Continues to be woeful ... Wasted good field three times already ... Once by rolling LH QB to his right twice ... Another, after running Underwood up the middle for 10 we bail on the run and throw four straight passes ... Then on that same drive, 3rd and 10 when we know it's four down territory, we don't try to get five to make a manageable 4th with options. Left a 4th and 10 and turned the ball over.

Bad decision making.

Was talking about this with a coworker about the Royals being gr8 even with Ned Yost. What is a harder head coaching job? Football HC or Baseball Manager? Right off the bat, I thought it was football, but then I remembered Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden being very successful and probably not doing anything and getting the credit. With football you have so many other coaches doing things for you that you can really just assign things like a master delegator.
