1 TO reduction
Charge under under bucket out to 4 feet
5 second closely guarded rule eliminated. Do not like that change.
Dunking allowed in pregame and halftime warmups.
Only 1 free throw after some technicals. Delays of game and one aother that slips my mond.
Refs can go to video at any time in the game for shot clock questions, not just last two minutes.

Ten things I'd rather do than watch the NBA

Did anyone attend the session at reunion weekend that addressed Villanova's move to a ranking as a national university as opposed to one categorized as Northern Regional? As mentioned on this board we aspire to come in around 45-55 which would put us amongst Wisconsin, Penn State, Florida, Miami, Washington Yeshiva, Texas, George Washington, Ohio State, Pepperdine and Tulane. I believe the session described what Villanova is doing to make this transition.

Fantastic come from behind win vs. Netherlands in Amsterdam.

Tied 1-1 at the half, the 2nd half downfall began quickly in the first 7 minutes. Down 3-1 in the 52nd minute and then netting one in the 70th minute to be down 3-2 with 5:00 to go, they score two more goals to secure the win vs. a top 3 team on its home turf. Never scored more than 1 goal vs. the Dutch in 4 previous matches (outscored 7-1). Yes, it was a 'friendly' but the Dutch were obviously playing to win. Hopefully a sign of things to come during future international play. Announcers cited statistic that since the last WC, the US outscored opponents 12-4 in 1st half but were outscored 12-3 in the 2nd half and looked like that trend would continue in this game before the late heroics. Great win! On to Germany next week...
