Looks like a liberty really did fill the stands last week as attendance was down by 30% for the division 2 national championship quarterfinal game.

Can't wait to here people make excuses, and then go look at randiculous' blog and see pictures that confirm the announced turnout.

For the amount of money villanova spends on football, and considering that there are only about a dozen division 2 teams that actually try, is it fair to say Talley is a bit of an underachiever? Think about it.

Wasn't this given tonight?? I hope JR wins this badly. He deserves it and he has to be so down not being able to go in the biggest game of his life. That would be a huge honor for him. Anyone know if it was announced yet?

Noticed they are selling $10 general admission tics and $40 tickets to the Stadium Club for their Dec 6 game. They may have the honor of playing against KC.

As announces said on ESPN3, it was penalties not kicking game that did in the Cats, playing without John Robertson. Chris Polony played as well as could be expected and ran suprising well, almost JR like. Bit as noted all week Sam Houston St wide receiver was their obvious go to guy and Cats never stopped him. Cats won the running game but SHS won in the air.

Cats made a game fight of it but even had they won, without JR it would have been very nasty at the Fargo Dome next weekend.

Got to the game to find out Robertson wouldn't play. Still in disbelief. As someone posted, we keep secrets better than the CIA. I felt we had virtually no chance to beat Keeler's latest and probably best Transfer U team. Transfers from Texas, Oklahoma, T.C.U. , etc. Yep, it's legal but there should be a max on how many, just like there is a max on scholarships. Despite losing the most dynamic offensive player in FCS football we took them down to the wire. Don't want to get into the if's, and's, and but's. This team did themselves proud today and all year. That we had a chance to win without Robertson at the helm was amazing. Polony was terrific. He hadn't started a game in 3 years and played very little during those 3 years. Did he make some mistakes, of course, but he played like a warrior. Way to go Chris, and way to go Wildcats. Thanks for a great season, you deserved better.

KC Keeler knows how to work the transfer thing. 11 of those 17 are from FBS schools.
They have a good to great Defense led by a super D end. Cats wlll have their hands full.

Jarrett McClenton, a running back for Archbishop Wood, is playing in the AAA State Championship game Friday, 7:00 in Hershey, against Central Valley. The game is televised live on Pa Cable Network, channel 186 on Comcast. McClenton has committed to Nova.

Team played their worst game of the year when it mattered most.
The secondary , kicking game and the stupid-ass penalties with a backup QB and they still almost won.
Thank you for a great season but this one is on Talley.

Clear, around 43 .More tickets sold than last week. That is good because a part of last week's crowd were Liberty fans. I don't think SHSt will have as many fans as Liberty did. So, more tickets sold means more Nova fans. If students come out in large numbers then the South side will be full. Football club tailgating in back of North stands. Best place to be pregame.

Good one tonight between these 2 teams with Chattanooga going for the upset.
Chatanooga up 24-22 early in the 4th qtr.

But no one wants them. I'm surprised with their stunning 6-6 record that they didn't get a single bowl bid, let alone one of the highly acclaimed bowls.

What is going on with the team? We should be able to compete in this new Big East. Not off to a good start this year.
