The greatest 4 days in sports

There is nothing better in sports than the these next 4 days. I cannot wait.

I am happy that we play today. I was talking to a SJU friend and they play Friday night. I don't know what I would do with myself for the next 36 hours if that was Nova playing Fri night.

I truly expect to make a deep run, I really do. There are going to be challenges, no doubt. It's the tournament, we have to expect everyone's "A" game. NC St, if they get past LSU will pose a lot of trouble if we don't play our game. Lacey and Turner are very good....

In saying all of that, we are going to need JVP at some point this tournament to step up and be a Sr. To quote Billy Packer from 1985...."It's tough to take it away from seniors."

Let's enjoy the ride. These kids deserve a deep run.....if it doesn't go the way us fans expect, I will still love this team and school. Let's do this.

...for anyone that DVR'd the Big East final take a second look at the MVP award to Hart ceremony...watch Dylan Ennis's face as they announce Hart as the winner...you would literally think Dylan had just won the lottery...then watch our other players...amazing unselfish pure joy for Josh...this team is together and ready to do serious damage in the NCAA's...

Which is more important ....

Nova going deep into the tournament, say at least elite 8 or the BE as a whole having a good record - say the second or third best of any conference.

My heart says it's Nova going deep, but my brain tells me it's the BE's record. Even if we got into the final 4 but the rest of the league had a bad record, it would just support those who would want to label the BE as a mid major.

ACC Coaching

With Jimmy B's retirement announced, it seems that the ACC is heading to a period where some of its legendary coaches might be moving on:

At Close of 2018 Season:
Jimmy B: Retiring
Coach K: Will be 71
Roy Williams: Will be 67 and potentially big NCAA sanctions coming before then.
Rick Pitino: Will be 65. He prob will still have some time to go if he wants.

Have to think this is a recruiting consideration/issue.
