I see multiple things wrong with this situation starting with the numerous grown men wearing jerseys in public. The punch is pretty nice though.

Love the fact that the dude just kept walking. No watching the hit, no bat flip, just trying to beat the line at Pats.

This has it all. A chin strap. The pimp roll. A hoodie worn under a jersey (x2). Physical violence. I didn't even watch it with the sound on and it checked all of the boxes for me. 5 stars.

Some dudes will never learn. You're drunk and out numbered. Just keep walking, homes. That was child abuse. Way to easy.

I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would willingly attend a pro football game

Agree.....didn't think there were many other sane people in this world. And Eagle fans are by far the worst.......couldn't pay me enough to go anywhere near the Linc for an NFL game.

Terrible. I hate crap like this. Even if he was running his mouth why does that clown feel the need to resort to violence? There were plenty of Giants fans in my section last night and we all had a good time with them. No one was taking anything too seriously.

I was wearing my normal winter coat which happens to be blue. On the way into the game I was getting the business because everyone thought I was a Giants fan.

I agree this is so stupid. alcohol plays a role but plenty of people drink and do not want to or look for fights. my guess is neither of these morons are getting up for a meaningful job the next day.

best case you win the fight, hurt your hands and/or get arrested. oh and in todays world you are gonna be on the internet because someone is filming.
worst case you lose. get really hurt and/or get arrested and are on the internet getting beat up because someone is filming.

those types of Philly fans are the lowest form or human being alive.

and for anyone who is looking for a fight DONT step to someone with your hands down, you will get lit up. defend yourself at all times. its the first thing they taught us when i boxed.

also not smart to pick a fight with someone who is 50 lbs heavier than you are. kid looked like he knew what he was doing. most guys throw a wild hook that has no chance to land. this kid threw a tight cross so the jaw.

You should have told the CoPers that were giving you a hard that time the burrs has verified and approved your fandom. If burrs approves of your fandom, every CoP fan should respect you.

everyone should be able to cheer for their team where ever they go. BUT use your head. why would anyone go to the Linc with anothers teams jersey on , especially on a monday night. to makes matters worse if you are a Giants, Dallas or Redskins fan you have an even bigger target on your back.

Agree. The kid had nice form on that right.

On the "hero death spectrum", how far away from "died pulling kindergartners from a burning building" is "beaten to death by another obnoxious drunk at a pro football game"?

Philly fans get "the worst" reputation because they boo'd Santa Claus ? Far worse happens in Cali on a weekly basis.

I'm convinced that more than half of the people who attend NFL games regularly are low life white trash losers who are willing to spend 30%+ of their income to get away from their families for 8 Sundays.

Nodding. You just described about 90% of the people I tailgate with.

How does this work? Aren't NFL tickets like $500 each? Plus another hundred for parking or something? I don't understand how a stadium can be filled with felons, plumbers, and club promoters with those kinds of prices.

Face value of these tickets are on average about $100/ticket. So $1000 a year for 10 games really isn't a lot. They probably spend more in beer, parking and cheese steaks so maybe a $2500 investment for the year or 10% of their annual custodian salary.

Long live credit.

Don't the seat licenses cost like $35k a year?

Just looked the Eagles website and if you're in some of the upper sections it looks like there are seats without a seat license fee and it looks like it goes from $63 on up.

I'll be honest i have no idea how that works. Do you just purchase the seat license one time and then it gives you the rights for tickets in a section with that license cost? Can you pay it over time and then transfer the remaining balance? I remember all the details being discussed when the new Giants stadium was being built but can't remember how it works.

The lesser seats in the Linc did not have PSLs attached to them. I.e., no seat licenses were payable for the old 700-level equivalent tickets.

even though I generally don't go anymore, I still believe there is a Roman Coliseum-like experience that makes going to games, football games in particular, worthwhile. There is more than enough time to be prim and proper during the work week, at kids' parties, reading bedtime stories, out on the town, whatever. I'm not against social acceptance of some level of debauchery on a large scale (though I don't condone people who get out of hand and act like jacka$$es). There are worse ways to indulge human nature. Live and let live.
