* 6'4 .... Playmaking 2/3 guard from Queens, NY with exceptional athleticism! Class of 2017. Tough and has a bit of an edge, Can pull up and hit the J and has some range. Slasher that can also put the ball on the floor. Very smooth and a graceful leaper with great body control and ability to finish above the rim as well as take contact. Did I mention athletic?
* Offers from Nova, Louisville, NC State, Indiana recently. As well as Uconn, Maryland, Minnesota, USC, Providence, Wake Forrest, Johnnies, and others. More to come.
* Was/is thought to be a heavy Uconn lean due to his relationship with teammate - PF Mamadou Diarra who committed to Uconn a couple months ago.
* Reportedly was a 5'7 8th grader and grew 8 inches in 1.5 years.
* Reclassified to 2017 and repeated his Sophmore year.
* He's one of Chris Mullins first offers. 48 hours after his press conference when he took the job.
* I believe he played for Putnam Science Academy last year but the school's closing down and entire program will move to Woodstock Academy. Connecticut prep school.
* Tweeted out 2 weeks ago that he wouldn't be making a decision any time soon and that he was wide open.
* One of our staff was at an open gym evaluating him in April. Coach Neptune I believe.
* It seemed we cooled a bit but after Jay got a good look at him this past weekend he was just too good not to offer.
* He's been on a pair of unofficials to Uconn and an unofficial to St. John's.
