ACC expansion ... next wave

Were the ACC to expand as a result of 1-2 of it's teams defecting to the SEC (I can't see Univ. of Fla. being happy with BOTH Fla. State & Miami joining, so I think FSU & Clemson will go), people have debated the likes of UConn ... but now I wonder if Temple with the Philly market wouldn't be more desirable. Also, no one has mentioned Old Dominion & their plans to upgrade to BCS level. IMO, BC would not be thrilled to add UConn to the ACC. It would be even more competition for them recruiting-wise. I think VU has pretty much finished with it's aspirations to upgrade football. They are happy where they are at; with like-minded schools where big-time basketball rules, & I'm happy having a FBS football team, even if it costs millions to maintain. It enhances the image of VU where good athletics & great academics can co-exist. Go Cats!

Is WR a concern? TE?

I assume Livers is graduating. I know Kevin Gulyas is back, but is he the type of WR who can replace Poppy? It appeared we had no depth at either WR or TE last season, & with the RB position behind Underhood 'wet behind the ears', JR may be hard-pressed to find moving targets, JR's running ability behind a more experienced OL may be tested too often now that JR has a concussion history. Can anyone elaborate on or alleviate my concerns?

GONE: Selling 2 for Georgetown

AND THEY ARE GONE!

I am selling my two seats - section 104, row 11, seats 5 & 6. I have them listed on the Vivid ticket exchange for $65 each. It does not appear I can post a direct link here. If you are interested, and would like to make payment and transfer outside of the Vivid site, text me at 267.250.1507 and let me know who you are. Otherwise, feel free to buy them through the site. It will be first come, first served.

Recruiting Question

Was checking out lax power recruiting information...

Is it accurate that 231 incoming high school SOPHOMORES have committed to programs?

http://www.laxpower.com/recruits/recruits.php?db=recruits2016&action=viewRcd&order=Name

This seems crazy early to me given when high school basketball and football recruits commit?

Looks like we already have 3 recruits that will be high school sophs?

Future of football article?

Has anyone who read the FanPost article about the "future of Villanova Athletics" have a thought on the plan outlined.

"As part of our agreement with Penn State, we will enter a 6 year scheduling arrangement alternating home games, with Penn State hosting 3 games and Villanova hosting 3 home games.

We also announce an agreement to play Temple annually at Lincoln Financial Field, alternating home field. We will plan to play the majority of our remaining home games, including Parents' Weekend and Homecoming, at PPL Park which has a current capacity of 18,500 with a plan to expand to 30,000. This schedule will assure fan interest and will easily bring our home field attendance average above the NCAA hurdle of 15,000."
