Hoops Mania Tickets

Informed by ticket office only season ticket holders will be offered tickets to Hoops Mania this year due to high demand by students. If anyone is offered tickets and don't plan to use them, let me know. I am flying up from Atlanta and need two tickets. In the past they were offered to waiting list, not this year.

Small MovementUpInPolls

After getting clobbered by a very good W&M, Nova almost fell out of top 25, landing in both polls at 25. This week after throwing a shutout at UAlbany, Cats started their climb back up with a slight upward movement.
Cats at 22, JMU at 3, Richmond 12, W&M at 16. Fordham is 11in coaches poll.
Stats media poll Cats at 23, JMU at 4, Richmond at 11, W&M at 17. Fordham at 10.
Good showing by CAA.

Sad Sad Sad....VU-Towson Football tailgate canceled

When I checked the list last week, I had 5 of the 14 packages purchased. Early on we had 100+ at a couple of these. Hard to beat the tailgate Frank Cullotta and Jimmy Hodges put on ANYWHERE

Club Box Package for WFC Games

As some of you may know already I am in sales and work for the Wells Fargo Center.

For any of you interested, we just released some Club Box packages for the 3 games at WFC this year. These are boxes located close to center court AND a 3 hour buffet and open bar comes included:

1. Providence - 1/23 - $140/person - Club Box 2
2. St. Johns - 2/13 - $140/person - Club Box 2
3. Georgetown - 3/5 - $175/person - Club Box 3

If you are interested I can help you directly. Leave your email and I will contact directly.

This is a way to get ahead of the game and secure some seats before the actual individual game on-sale which won't happen for another few months.

No minimum or maximum ticket purchase required (you can buy 2 or a group of 20 if you wanted to) Great way to catch the games here in a great location. Restrooms in each box as well for those wondering.

MLB Playoffs

What? No thread on this because the CoPhillies aren't in it this year? We aren't allowed to discuss?

Observations so far:

The Pirates throwing at Arrieta was the most entertaining thing I've seen in a while.
Houston has the goods to go very far, and are going to be twice as good next year.
Toronto will come out of the AL.

Colonel Jim

We''re visiting Kristie and her two sons in Austin Texas. Went to high school where Kristie and ladies were selling pink shirts and FB gear to kids. Then we went to Costco when Kristie's husband Colonel Jim phones from Kostco. He visits Afghan. and Syria too. Long conversation. Has some tricky patients getting ready for Germany. Mentions staying at our place last summer while son, Harper, was visiting Ivy League schools and we're visiting Billy. His son, Jamison, in West Point, got a Rugby concussion last week, while Jim's ninth grader, Greer, is playing both ways, center and nose guard since their nose guard got hurt. From then on it's Kristie and Jim. God bless Jim and our troops wherever they are.
