A Star is born RSFR QB Zack Bednarczyk leads comeback win over Hens 28-21

Unbelievable on gametracker, John Robinson goes out of game (injury?) and backup QB Bednarczykr (a real football name) leads Cats to 2 come from behind TDs. one passing and clincher a 21 yd run and 2 pt. conversion by Zack. Co-captains Don Cherry and Reggie Paris drive the stake into the Hen's heart with big sacks of Delaware QB. Another game e for the recordbooks. V for Villanova.

College Foosball

Amazes me when fans leave these games early. Isn't this what they live for in the south? Bama fans left down 19 with 10 mins left. What are they leaving the game to go do?

19 pts with 10 mins left with these dumb college kids is absolutely nothing. No lead is safe in college foosball. It's the devil.

NFL Week 2

Rex Ryan is such a gift for Patriots fans.
Guy was given 6 years to completely run the jets into the ground. Most knew he was finished after year 4, but the Jets and their brilliant owners decided to let him stay for an additional two years, making the jets rebuilding project that much more difficult.
Now he goes to Buffalo to run that franchise into the ground.
This guy has single handedly destroyed half of the patriots in conference competition. I love it.

Giants are incredibly boring. I hope our local coverage doesn't grab too many more of their games. I don't know if they are good or bad, but they are boring.

Just heard an announcer say that he isn't giving up on the eagles yet, as their division is so bad that they don't have to be very good to make the playoffs. I agree.

AFC North? Steelers and Ravens starting to slip? Changing of the guard?

Peyton Manning should have retired.

NFC looks again to be a two team race. Seattle and Green Bay. Arizona could threaten in the playoffs, but the rest of the teams are well below the others. Atlanat, Carolina, the entire nfc east are all a bunch of flawed teams.

3D Printer Update

Scientists at the University of Minnesota have used a 3D printer to build "scaffolds" to link nerves damaged by disease or accidents. Previously, the only thing that could be done was complicated and often painful surgery to try to reconnect damaged nerves. Now, the scaffolds are placed in the body and provide a direct route for the damaged nerves to grow, heal and reconnect on their own without the painful surgery. Scientists are optimistic that this technique may provide hope for neurological diseases as well.

Cats Get 600th Win

With yesterday's win over Delaware, Nova improved to 600 - 466 - 41. This is a .561 all time percentage.
This is the 117th season of football for the Wildcats. The program debuted in 1894. Villanova became the 17th FCS program to reach the 600-win plateau.
But my guess is the staff and players are more happy about beating Delaware for the ninth time in ten years including the eighth time in nine years since this annual game has been billed as the Battle of the Blue.
Villanova has won four straight and now leads the series 27 - 21- 1 (.561)

Blue Hens Want To Take A Run at Nova

Head line in Tuesday's Wilmington News Journal. "We're going to have to run it at them. I've watched UConn and Fordham play horizontally against them, playing laterally against them, and I think you're playing into their hands a little bit if you think you're going to run around them. They're very fast, sure tacklers." The Blue Hens averaged 4.8 yds per carry and got 257 ground yds. against Lafayette. Lots of luck trying to run against the Villanova defense.
