Digital copy of our tournament games?

It was bound to happen: My kids set the DVR to tape the Olympics and wiped out the NCAA tournament content on my DVR.

I could have sworn someone on the message boards was selling digital copies of the games soon after the championship - but I can't find the link. If anyone has the info of the seller or wants to make me a copy I'll gladly pay for you for your time and trouble.

I can be emailed at ellis30@yahoo.com - Brian Ellis '95

Thanks!

Inappropriate content

It shouldn't be hard not to purposely offend people. I've left this free board alone because the switch in publishers on front page and behind paywall shouldn't change your ability to interact with fellow Villanova football fans.

It had appeared the trolls had died down somewhat and the members still discussing stuff over here were doing so without offensive posts/pictures.

I will start checking boards in morning and at night to watch for and then ban anyone posting that type of content. Also, if you notice something on here that's not appropriate, report the post and I'll be notified directly.

Let's be adults and allow those who'd like to talk Villanova football to do so without juvenile activity.

If any members would like to be a moderator to help keep these things off this board, please send me an email. Like I've said many times, this is your board and it'll work best when it's policed by posters.

The beloved coach of the Villanova University men’s basketball team—winners of the electrifying 2016 NCAA national title game against North Carolina—shares his competitive and cooperative philosophy, along with lessons from his coaching career and the story of his personal road to success, in this behind-the-scenes look at the making of a champion.

Two Deep for Maine

Ross Hall not listed at center. D.E. position is thin. So thin Morgan Craig, who has been the backup at T.E., is moving to backup at D.E. Joey Harmon who has been out due to injury is listed behind Austin Calitro at LB. I imagine since Harmon has been the starter he's probably questionable for tomorrow. If Harmon can go wouldn't be surprised if Calitro goes to D.E. since he's played there this year.

Good Nova Coverage In Sunday NYT

Some one in their sports department picked up the Fact that Nova is a scoring machine.
BTW Sagarin this week has our Cats ranked as the # 2 FCS team. Had been #3 for weeks

From Sunday New York Times:
"Villanova extends its streak of high-scoring victories with another win at Maine.

VILLANOVA 41, MAINE 20 John Robertson threw for 285 yards and four touchdowns, Poppy Livers added 87 yards receiving and a touchdown, and Villanova beat host Maine.

Villanova led 21-13 at halftime and Robertson went on to throw two third quarter touchdowns including a 43-yard strike to Kevin Gulyas.

It was the fourth consecutive game in which Robertson threw four touchdown passes for the Wildcats (4-1, 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association). Villanova has scored 40 or more points in four straight games, all wins, since a Week 1 loss to Syracuse. The victory was also Villanova's third straight at Maine after having lost its previous five road contest against the Black Bears.

Daniel Collins led Maine (2-3, 1-1) with 210 yards passing and three touchdowns Demarr Altman added nine catches for 88 yards for the Black Bears who were held to just 59 total yards rushing on 28 carries.."

Two Deep For Penn Game

Cats are going to miss two valuable players. On defense , end Tanoh Kpassagnon who was really playing well will be replaced by redshirt frosh Michael Williams 6-4,280 Big things are expected from Williams. RB Austin Medley is out. Look for more carries for Underwood and Monangai. True frosh Matt Gudzak will see lots of PT.
On two deep defense I only see four seniors. On offense nine.

Any frosh to play this season?

Anybody heard anything out of camp about potential freshmen playing?

Coach Talley talked earlier this month about 2 receivers probably playing.

Possible positions that frosh could play:

OL, TE, WR, DL, & DB.

That would give the following recruits a possibility:

OL: Peter Fallon, Paul Gratton, Pat Lawler

TE: Todd Summers

WR: Zac Kerxton, Justin McGrigg, Changa Hodge

DL: Jeff Wiley, Aaron Seigle

DB: Korey Stevens, Nooowela Awopetu, Terrell Vassell

OL MJ Dumas will be a redshirt due to injury.
