Does Hillary completely collapse (being up 30 early) and feel the Bern or hang on to pull out a close one? I'm guessing she pulls out a 3 point squeaker.

FoxNews is pushing hard with EXCLUSIVE BREAKING NEWS about how many people's lives were risked by hillary's email security.
You think this new information about Hillary's emails will get all those Dem Caucus voters who rely on Foxnews to vote?

yeah...you gotta give foxnews a cap tip here. They're doing their best to bring down Hillary.

I would think anything that Foxnews says attacking HRC would just motivate her own supporters to caucus. Sanders people certainly aren't watching Foxnews or care what Fox says. Could be a mistake.

Regardless, let's go back to the question at hand. Does HRC choke up a 30 point lead to a self-claimed socialist or does she hold out and squeak out a W in Iowa?

What would the equivalent "serve your team's presidential primary goals" breaking news on CNN be?

"TRUMP SAVES PUPPIES AND ADOPT UGANDAN ORPHANS"
"TRUMP MAY GIVE AWAY HIS WEALTH WHEN HE DIES LIKE MARK GOBELSTEIN"

I don't think it matters either way. Sanders won't win the dem nomination. The more interesting question is will Rubio sneak in a win tonight? He has been moving quickly up the polls, but I don't know if he can get over the top with all the nutcase Trump supports who just won't budge off of insanity.

It's going to be Trump & Sanders tonight. Rubio will finish a close 3rd to Cruz (who will effectively be done after tonight). Christie 4th.
The socialist youth movement will be pumped up tonight. Clinton spin machine will be in full throttle saying after New Hampshire next week she dominates all the polls. Unfortunately for Hillary, America is beginning to feel the Bern! Sanders will win New Hampshire in a landslide next week and the Hillary collapse will begin. Then, seeking an opening because no one in their right mind would vote for Sanders, Bloomberg and/or Joe Biden jump into the race, splitting the Democratic vote. By November, we will all be fist pumping to "We're Not Gonna Take It' as President-Elect Trump begins his mission to "Make America Great Again"!!!

Waiting for one of the lefties to answer the question specific to HRC's potential collapse in Iowa. Can they do it?

Could you define landslide? In the past there has been some confusion on this site about such notions. Does landslide = handily?

Post Iowa Update:
1. Teddy Cruz - was is it about a slimy liar that evangelical 'merica loves?
2. Trump - sh*t just got real. He has to either start the fireworks now (if there are any) or check out.
3. Carson - took third in Lyon county
4. Rubio - strong showing, will be interesting to see if he picks up Bush's supporters. Florida pride!
5. Kasich - I hope that his campaign just gets increasingly more angry, desperate and outrageous. Reality TV idea: Kasich walks into a place of work and tells people about how awesome he'd be at their job because he was the governor of Ohio while the national economy was on a mild upswing. He won't leave until they admit it.

It's hard to believe that Howard Dean was run out of the race because of his rant after the 2004 Iowa primary. That wouldn't even get covered on cable news this year.

Not only are we going to New Hampshire, Tom Harkin, we're going to South Carolina and Oklahoma and Arizona and North Dakota and New Mexico, and we're going to California and Texas and New York.... And we're going to South Dakota and Oregon and Washington and Michigan, and then we're going to Washington, D.C., to take back the White House! YEAH!!!!

She needs to make her free throws down the stretch.

The content was fine, but the maniacal scream at the end was so bizarre. It made him appear as if he was completely unhinged (which he is)

Cruz--principled, crazy, ugly
Rubio--much less principled, polished, pretty, slimy politician feel to him
Trump--zero principles, completely unpolished, atrocious hair
Paul--principled, sane, semi-perm has to go

His sanity is underrated.

I took an I-NET "find your candidate" quiz of about 20 questions and it told me to pull the lever for Rand. He doesn't pander enough to my religious fanaticism and immigrant fears though.
He is the strongest GOP candidate. The establishment doesn't care for the Paul family, unfortunately.

Love the "they did it to" defense. Why doesn't she just admit she screwed up and get it over with

How is Goober Pyle and his crack Benghazi Investigation Committee coming along with publishing his report and all the crimes we were told that had been committed? Why don't the congressional republicans apologize and admit they were wrong?

People need to start accepting that not only is Donald Trump going to win the nomination, he's going to win the general. No one likes Hilliary, the democratic base barely likes her over a self declared socialist. Both parties as well as the news media do not understand what is going on here. People are so pissed off with both parties at this point that they want someone who is going to completely blow up the political system in this country. That is exactly what Donald Trump is doing. Even the pope has no idea how to react to him! In a Trump - Hilliary General election almost no independents will break for Hilliary-they will either go Trump, go for some bullshit Green Party candidate or stay home. The republican base will all go Trump - there's no f'n way they are going for Hilliary. People also aren't looking at the turnout. So far every Republican primary has had record turnout. The democratic turnout in Nevada was down 1/3 from 2008 yesterday. That is huge for winning elections. I do think it's going to come down between Rubio and Trump and Rubio will pick up lots of votes and endorsements. However, I still don't think it will be enough. When Cruz eventually gets out Trump will pick up some of those voters too. Rubio isn't getting 100% of them and Trump is so far ahead I don't see how he makes up that much ground. I really like Rubio and I think he will be president one day but at this point I don't see how Trump loses. It's not like he's going to say something outrageous and he will tank. The guy said he could shoot someone in the middle of the street at this point and his poll numbers go up!! It's time to Make America Great Again! We are going to start winning so f'n much it's going to be unbelievable!

Hilary is crushing Bern. Check the delegate count. Race is over on the Dem side. The weak candidate will be on the republican side.

How is Trump going to blow up the system? He's shown no substance. Just sound bytes. You can't blow up the system without a plan.

Trump for a moment in his campaign revealed a tax plan and other policy initiatives and slipped big time in the polls so he went back to period jokes.

Again, no expert with this stuff, so I defer to some of you guys.....

I heard something last night on the news that I thought was interesting. Someone commented that what you might see now is these other GOP guys sort of align, meaning big $$$$ donors joining together to support another candidate. Throwing all kinds of cash at one candidate in hopes of knocking the Trumpster off. In turn, the other person on the panel said, this would play into Trump's hands, in what he's been saying all along, enough with people buying there way into offices. That Americans are sick and tired of this. That he'll use it against them and even more people will support him because people (Common folk) are tired of the way politics work in this country. Any validity to this theory?

Also, if Trump were to become president, would both the Dems/Reps (Congress/Senate/whoever else that matters) sort of just not work with him for the next four years?

How much popcorn should be popped if this unfolded?
