2016-2017 76ers

Grizz win 92-84. 5 straight moral victories.

Brutal game for Okafor. Should be interesting to see what happens tonight outside of some Memphis night club. Covington stuffed the stats sheet: 12pts, 7rbs, 4asts, 1block, 5 fouls, 7 steals, 8 turnovers.

But, matty17 told us he was the best low post player of basically 2 generations.

It's rough to get out-tanked, but cap tip to the Lakers for knowing that the best way to lose games is to throw a delusional gimpy legend on the court, shooting 30%, chucking at will during a farewell tour that only he wanted.

Josh Harris is holding a press-conference at 4:30 today. With AI being in over the weekend I bet they've decided to hire him in some capacity.

AI has always been a good teammate, especially when the team was losing. Should work out well.

Lord knows they couldn't have the press conference in the morning if AI was to attend. Maybe they're announcing he's Okafor's babysitter/driver?

Big game for Okafor at BK. Stauskas, Canaan, Thompson shoot a sparkling 3-28. Team shoots 4-30 from 3.

What's up with Noel, regressing on the worst team in the NBA? I thought he was suppose to be a defensive specialist? He's not even averaging a block a game.

It's hard to evaluate Noel on such a roster. The more you seen him the more you think he's a 6th man on a good team. Still a guy you can build with but a specialist no doubt. So much can happen next offseason in the Sixers frontcourt. It's pretty obvious Noel and Oak don't fit well together tho. Saric would appear to be a much better fit with Okafor as a stretch 4 to draw defenders away from the basket. And who knows where Embiid fits in all this. Well, we know where he fits if he's actually on the court. Staying on it is another matter.

okafor doesn't fit with winning or competing

he's a f--king loser

okafor and saric? who the f--k are they going to guard?

hinkie f--ked himself by taking okafor, and now he's being pushed out for the type of shitheads who love okafor

Okafor is a loser ? Why because he can't win playing with the worst roster in NBA history? Didn't that loser just win a national championship in his only college season as a freshman? What a loser.

To be intellectually honest, he couldnt stay on the court in the NC game.

Oakfur's +\- stats are worse in NBA & even worse amongst all the 76'ers.

Negative 263 points.

Gr8 stat to compare who is losing on the court & winning

But matty said he was the gr8est post player in the last 20 years. Clearly matty is not a homer.

Noels is 2nd worst +\_ on 76'ers.

I find NBA fans to be the dumbest of all pro teams.. & that's saying a lot.

No he didn't. Troll fairly.
From Matty17 in a different thread:

Took Towns to school tonight and dominated him on both ends of the floor. I think Towns is terrific but Okafor is the most dominant offensive post player to come out of college in 20 years. At 19, his post moves are just ridiculously good. In addition he blocked two of Towns shots and got him in foul trouble early and was a beast on the boards. The Wolves had to resort to the double team in the second half.

I have not and will not answer the stupid posts about how bad he is and what he can't do and even some saying it was a mistake to pick him. If you have half a brain and know the game a little, you realize how special this kid is.

Let's be clear, despite what Johnny NBA expert says, Okafor is light years ahead of Noel. Okafor is clearly suspect defensively but Noel has been a major disappointment on the defensive side this season and is already terrible on the offensive end. Tired of hearing how they can't play together, Noel is going to have to adjust.
