Played both guard and tackle . More adept at run blocking than pass blocking. Thus might be playing guard in college. Chosen to play in the prestigious Big 33 game

At the recent Jack Pyrah Invitational (Sat., 12/7), the winner of the 3000 was Brent Johnson (Sr., Villanova). So who is Brent Johnson? Some digging suggests that he was a member of the Villanova running club. The site does not mention him as one of VU's winners. Is he competing for the varsity - i.e., a walk-on? Interesting

Long interview with Gary Player on the Golf Channel (sports with no NFL coverage). Half-listening. Seems Gary said it was appalling that racist America wouldn't give Sifford his card before then. Gary said they were basically the same, because Gary wasn't allowed to play on few tours, Japan etc, because of the apartheid.
Gary also said US has best facilities and the most resources, but keeps getting it's ass kicked in Ryder Cup and tennis (?) because we don't give a damn.
Maybe it would've made more sense if I was paying better attention?

What do you do all day? I always figured that when I retired I'd live on a sailboat, and just kind of go where the wind takes me. Maybe if I was land bound I'd pick up a time consuming hobby like woodworking. Do you really just sit in your condos all day and post on vusports while laborers shovel your snow?

I remember there being a thread about this movie but I can't find it. Saw it over the weekend.
Decent war movie, but not great. Nice action scenes/good effects, but the acting was poor and the story was underdeveloped. Many scenes just kind of seemed tacked on. Maybe I'm just spoiled from Band of Brothers.
Anyone on here do it? Seems like most places offer one introductory month for $30-$40 unlimited, then jack up the price to $150/month. I joined last week, have gone 6x in 7 days. Feel great, actually noticed my digestive system is working better too. Some decent eye candy during those 90 minutes.
Don't see myself renewing, but I might buy a 10 pack of classes for $120 or something and go every other week.
