Trumo VP + SCOTUS Picks 5/18 + Riots - 5/27

Gotcha. I hope you realize that's a massive qualifier.

I like many of those countries, but I disagree on all of them. The Scandinavian countries are facing some huge problems in the coming years which threaten the relative tranquility and wealth they've lived for the last decade.

Argentina is a disaster. No idea why you'd want to live there.

New Zealand is tiny, and completely reliant on China for its well being. There's next to nothing going on there. It's a bunch of dairy farmers.

Vietnam? I can't argue with that, but it's a third world country. Your chances of growing up white and privileged there are slim to none.

Belgium and the Netherlands are ok I guess?

Some might suit your personality, but America is still the best pound for pound fighter in the world.

The United States is about to elect Donald Trump President.

Election night 2008?

Why? Have we increased giveaways so much that it has been such a massive sea change? Is there a new war on poor declares that I am unaware of?

Tonight the presumptive nominees lost yet another primary on one side and on the other a state gave 30% of their votes to guys who are no longer running. We're killing it right now baby.

I live in Vietnam and as a foreigner here I feel that I have more freedom than I ever did in the states.

I can literally take a shit in the middle of the street here and no one will bat an eyelash.
Says the man who shits in the shower.

No, the war is on the middle class and that's a lot of what has provided to the rise of Trump. This is what many don't understand. Take Obamacare, worst legislation in history for the middle class. Which is why you haven't seen a Democrat mention how great it is in 3 years since the program went live.

So that's it? Obamacare is what put the country in the dumpster ? That's what killed the middle class? A trend that has been unfolding for 35 years if you bother to actual read anything about anything, but it was Obamacrae that pulled the trigger? ( and we agree it hurt the middle class) I just want to know what exactly what we are talking about we we say it's Obama. Nova98 says its handouts, you say it's what he made the middle class pony up. also, I have heard plenty of pinkos tell me it's been good btw - including your pal Zeke Emanuel who said it has helped slow the rise of cost in the sector . Dont look at me - he's your guy. I just got 20 stitches and the bill was 8k so I don't know what he means, but he seemed to sound like he knew a lot on the matter.

No, I'm simply pointing out the Democrats golden achievement of the Obama Presidency has been the worst bill ever written for the middle class. It's a perfect example of where their politics are aimed to help and why you are seeing the middle class run in droves from Democrats. I'm providing a very specific example and the key legislative priority of the 8 Obama years. A failed healthcare bill that is cratering under it's own weight.

Seriously, this was Monday. Hey, we duped Americans to sell a nuclear deal with Iran. No, nothing to see here. If Dick Chaney did this the media would have exploded. This is truly amazing. The Administration official admits to lying and how they controlled/lied to the press to create the "narrative" of their choice. Liberal press response, "Yawn, happy to be used". This is what people react to when it comes to the past 8 years. Of course, most people aren't paying attention or don't care. This is the stuff that actually matters, not the partisan bickering in congress.

This may be a leap , apologies if so, but are you saying a big reason why Hillary isn't fait acompli ( although she has more primary votes than Trump) is because of Obamacare's effect on the middle class? I'm just trying to follow the dots of your logic here. Trump has been an advocate for single payer in the recent past, so I suppose it's possible.

Hillary lost another primary last night. Comparing the number of votes for someone in a two way primary vs a guy in a 29 way reeks of intellectual dishonesty and we all know it. A better measure would be total votes cast and even them many primaries are closed and it seems trump is doing well with independents. However, I would never expect intellectual integrity from you when it comes to politics.

Well, i cited her weakness in another post, so we're not at all in disagreement there. It's clear she's not well liked. You can also argue that Trumo LOST 30% of the vote in a state last night where he was the ONLY GUY still running. That means nearly one in three republican voters would rather vote for a guy not running than Trumo. But this is pretty much irrelevant as you know that - the sanders voters will get in line behind here in Nov just as the Lyin Ted/Kasich/Little Marco voter will have no choice to do the same behind Trumo. None of them will like it, but they will hold their nose and pull the lever, just like Gore/Bush, only the worser version. You think a lot Sanders voters are gonna vote for Trumo? Lyn ted /Kasich Voters for Hillart? "Where should be build this widget factory? "HOW BOUT FANTASY LAND!"

You have also cited Biden as making a mistake for not running, basically saying he would win. So, I guess I am confused by what's what with your argument. Did Obamacare cost Hillart this election? Is that what is hurting her? Is Trumo's talk of a single payer the reason he's 'winning'? Personally I think a lot of people just don't like Hillart or Trumo and would rather not vote for them, but will come November because they are a version of either a left winger pinko limousine lib or a right winger gun clinger who thinks Trumo is gonna save them for the big bad muslims and mexicans and taxers. People fall in line, and it's business as usual.

I cited their chief legislative accomplishment as a reason why the middle class is running away and why dems don't tall about the single greatest achievement in Obama's 8 years. "costing the election" are your words, not mine. Try to follow along with some intellectual integrity. Also, cite trumps support of a single payer? Please link, I had not seen trump supporting single-payer.

Reagan tripled debt and we did ok with the army in the 1940's. Ever heard of weapon technology? I don't think ramping up if we need them is too hard. Not sure why we need so many on staff right now. Russia is not invading us. (i don't think!) Complaining about the deficit and military cuts seems counterintuitive to me....not sure what Obama specific policy has added so much to the deficit, which has been trending down for years now.
Talking about reduced deficits is a white elephant. It's the debt that counts!

Donald Trump: Obamacare’s going to be repealed and replaced. Obamacare is a disaster if you look at what’s going on with premiums where they’re up 40, 50, 55 percent.

Scott Pelley: How do you fix it?

Donald Trump: There’s many different ways, by the way. Everybody’s got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, “No, no, the lower 25 percent that can’t afford private. But–”

Scott Pelley: Universal health care.

Donald Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.

Scott Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How? How?

Donald Trump: They’re going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probably–

Scott Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?

Donald Trump: —the government’s gonna pay for it.

And from the past..

In 1999, during his short-lived 2000 Reform Party presidential bid, Trump told CNN's Larry King: "If you can’t take care of your sick in the country, forget it, it’s all over. ... I believe in universal healthcare."

And in his 2000 book "The America We Deserve," Trump made a strong pitch for universal health care. As to how the country might achieve universal coverage, Trump focused on a Canadian-style, single-payer plan.

From the debates:

"Now, 15 years ago, you called yourself a liberal on health care. You were for a single-payer system, a Canadian-style system. Why were you for that then and why aren’t you for it now?"

Trump answered first by speaking about foreign policy, then said:

"As far as single payer, it works in Canada. It works incredibly well in Scotland. It could have worked in a different age.

Plenty of times Trump has talked favorably about single payer. very similar to bernie. Maybe that's why he's almost winning.

Yea, that's not support for single payer. I'll wait for his detailed plan. We also have universal coverage today.

And no sarcasm here.

Only Trumo is not in a '29 way primary' - he's in a ONE MAN primary now and last night still lost 30% of the vote. Point is, it's fair to say these are two rather deplorable candidates. To say one is somehow more galvanizing even among their own base is silly. They are not.

Isn't it even worse that Hillary continues to lose primaries to a socialist?

More people voted for Bernie than voted for her in yet another state.

That is telling.

you can argue its 'worse', sure. id have no problem with that. I just wouldn't call either candidate good or strong.

Drudge has a link today on a piece that showed how she actually did better agent Obama in many of these places than she is doing now in terms of total votes. The support for hillary has always been soft. She's not good on the stump and it's hard to change the view of her, as a rigid unlikable shrew, when she's so well known. Her only play is to hide and tell people she's better than the alternative. Any normal candidate and the gop wins handily. Insert tjc response here.

Agreed but I don't see anyone on the gop side arguing trump is a good or strong candidate.

This was in my Facebook feed today....clearly Zuckerberg is monitoring my VUSports chatter...

Yes, when you don't do that, it's called a deficit, which you called a 'white elephant' .[/QUOT
The discussion of cutting the deficit is a white elephant for the real problem of the looming national debt. I guess you're happy with politicians bragging about plans to cut the deficit. That's like your wife telling you she went shopping for new clothes and only spent $500 instead of the $1000 she spent last month but don't worry the credit card balance only went up $500 instead of $1000.

So, I guess you're satisfied Anarchy with politicians bragging about plans to cut the deficit. That's like your wife telling you she went to the store and bought new clothes for $500. But, don't worry it's less than the $1000 she spent the month before so the credit card balance just went up $500 instead of $1000.

Well, I guess you can say there aren't any "normal" GOP candidates out there, huh? Rather sad, I guess....

Hilliart must be sh*ting herself today. In fact, the entire democratic party must be. Crazy Bernie is going to fight Crooked Hilliary all the way to the convention and if she keeps bombing out there will be more pressure on the superdelgates to flip to Crazy Bernie. If he is the nominee Trumo wins in a landslide. If Hilliart survives she is damaged goods and no one is excited for her-Trumo still wins. This is if she doesn't get hauled off by the FBI. I'm still concerned that Biden finds a way to get back into this thing. He would probably beat Trumo. Outside of that, neither Crooked Hilliary or Crazy Bernie will be enough to stop the Trumo Train! Get on board bitches!! We are about to Make America Great Again!!!

tjc - how do you propose paying down the debt when you are running a deficit? First, that deficit needs to stop and turn into positive income that can be used to pay down the debt. The only other solution is reallocating major funds to go towards debt. So, I guess we could start spending 200B instead of 700B on defense and put 500B toward the debt if you like. No one seems to want to do that though.

Did strick just cite the same Facebook who yesterday affirmed the left wing media bis they elevate?
